Without experimentation stim B's heal closer to 250.

With factory sub-components (which I would VERY HIGHLY recommend unless you want medic crafting xp) you can get B's that heal for 330ish before experimenting (and that's using 125 Overall Quality Talusian Fungus for the final combine).

I just knew that if I posted that number someone would have to comment on it. So fine, these were factory components made by someone with engineering 2 who didn't go out of her way to try twenty times to improve the schematics. Just someone who wanted to throw them into the factory to see if they work. I experimented on the components but didn't worry much as long as the numbers went up. Still, a novice BE doesn't have as many assembly points which would make a difference experimented or not.

a good (i thnk?) tatooine sunburn boosts the health/action regen stat (i can't remember which one its callled..but theone that affects how fast you regen) by 1500-2000 EACH. it also lowers focus (the mind regen) by 50-100. this can be countered by corellian ice cream that raises focus by 100-250.

there is also a drink that increases the health/action sub-stats that affect how much a special cost. regretfully, i can't remember what it is called either...maybe starlight something. it doesn't raise them by a whole lot (100-450) and also lowers focus by 50-100. still, the combo makes for a lot of specials that don't cost a lot and regened quickly.

Tatoonie Sunburns are Chef crafted items. They boost Strength and Stamina around 1500 each and can last from around 6 minutes to 10 minutes depending on Chef skill and resources used to create. It also drops your focus about 100.

Strength decreases the amount of health that is used on a special.
Stamina increases the rate at which you regenerate your Action bar.
Focus decreases the amount of mind used on a special. (So in the case of a 'burn your mind costs go up.)

http://www.thehegemon.com/chef.htmhas a good list of chef foods and what they do. Anything with milk is really hard to find now though because milk is very rare.

Also, if you're hoping to get crated Sunburns to save on inventory space, you're not in luck. Currently any food that comes out of a factory comes in a stack of 1 (ignores schematic stack size.) So if you go for the crated sunburns, you can get 25 into one inventory slot, but it'll cost you an arm and a leg.

thanks alot for the information, especially the list of what the subcategories do (mainly cause i like lowered the heck out of em cause i didnt think they were that important....DOH!!) I guess i need to work on the stat migration to bring those back up to help out with my regen.

Thanks again,

Starshine surprises are nice for carbineers, they give +strength and +quickness and if you pop like 3 at once you can take off a lot of special cost

Exactly how do you survey for and sample resources? I am just mistified on how. When I take an artisan survey mission and it says ore does that mean just any kind of ore?

You need survey tools to take samples and survey. If you made your character an artisan when u created him, you should have a few survey tools in your inventory. If you didnt, check the bazaar for tools. Theyshouldntcost more than 100 credits for a tool. If you are on the Corbantis server, contact me and ill give you what you need As far as survey missions, i have no idea. Never did them.

A couple minor tidbits: if you didn't make an artisan, then you will need to train that skill before you can survey. For the question about missions, if it says ore then it should mean any ore. Keep in mind that you will need to find a certain percentage of the ore to earn the money. Thispercentage will be marked on the mission info.If there're other qualifying conditions then these will also be in the details of the mission information. To use the survey tools, click and select appropriate button on the radial.
