Best advice I can offer you is to stand in Cnet and spam for a group. If you don't get takers hit Theed, back and forth. That's what I had to do my first time in taking out the Vette.
Going to have to try that if the people I"m currently talking to doesn't pan out. Thanks for the tip
On the subject of the thread though. I think that if you give it time, you will see some other "shunt" programs added to both Imperials and Rebels (imps focusing on shunting from engines and weapons and rebels from shields) . If I'm understanding this right, haven't gotten to really test them out yet, they are like the old power transfer options from the X-Wing games. This would be a lot more useful than Overloads in my mind because it doesn't cause the same strain on your components. As it sets now, each group is pretty balanced on the base programs, so shunts is where things will hopefully be added at.

The problem with this thought is that Privateers where behind in droid programs from the start. Imps got engine AND weapon overloads that they could program themselves from the beginning, Privateers only had reactor overloads. How useful is just reactor if you can't find anyone to trade? Basically consider the stuff they are adding right now and in the next month balancing things out. Imperials will start getting more once the different factions of pilot are balanced completely. It's nearly there, all I can see that is needed now (since they've announced a Privateer master ship with turret) is for Rebels to get a light/medium fighter that has stats somewhere between the X-Wing and the Z-95. Then I'm sure you'll see Imperials get something new whenever the other two pilots get something new.

This would be way cool, I think ![]()
But then, that would mean content for the Imperials, something I believe the devs are still against. And if they're not against, then they don't really give thought to, which would be sad, since their job is to make the game fun for EVERYONE, not make choices based on what side they personally root for.

The question is then, why add something more to Imperials when they still have to balance the other professions out comparitively? Adding stuff to Imperials right now would further create imbalance. I really think that the capacitor shunts are the first in a series and that you will see respective ones for both Rebs and Imps. It just makes sense that they will be releasing more and will be given to the profession that already "specializes" in that piece of equipment. Just relax and be patient man, don't worry about getting new stuff yet. It will come in time.
I hope you're right. And if this is so, then really, that's for the best overall. Please look at it from our viewpoint, though. We Imps are consistently seeing new things added for the benefit of neutrals and rebels, yet nothing for us. The devs have never posted anything that would even give the slightest indication that they're bringing the other groups up to our levels before proceeding in that direction. When you look at it that way, I hope you can see why Imps are very frustrated.

Ok, two things here.
1) They added 9 to neutral, 2 to rebel. So from where I sit, it seems to me that they can add as much as they want to "balance" things. I don't care that such and such group gets more, I care that Imperials are constantly being left out. And we are, on a consistent basis.
2) Yeah, Imps are always told that we'll eventually get something new down the road. Yet, it never happens. Name ONE thing, Imperials have gotten in a publish that other groups didn't get? Don't mention AT-STs, that came with the game's original release and it is now completely worthless (and NO, we cannot use them to drive up the mission difficulties anymore, anyone who says that is ignorant, unless you're an Imp who is actually doing it, then I'd like to know how you're doing it).
And, you may be right, maybe the Imperials will get some cool and exciting stuff. I'd love to be proven wrong. I learned that actions speak louder than words, and I've been with this game since the beginning. If you go by actions, Imps will continually get shafted, because this has been the actions of the devs on a consistent basis.
I declare get my atst out, hide it somewhere, Then do my misions. When I go covert i remain grouped with the atst.

The Imperials started out with 6 of the best and most useful programs in the game. The neutrals started with 2 of the most useless. You got your content on release - the rest of us have had to wait. I'm sorry, but you're like the fat kid who ate a bag full of cookiees while his little brother was only given one. Now he's crying because his brother got a couple more cookiees and he didn't get any extra. I'm sorry, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for the Imperials when comes to JtL...

Hmmmm, who is appearing ignorant? I see you have yet to address Bomberstrike. What do the other factionshave that compares to that? Ship repair? E-Nerf errr Pulse?
Quit looking over the fence to see if the grass is greener....Imps have always been the faction with all the best perks so quit crying because the new stuff brings the other factions a little closer to Imps (still below but closer). Many of you Imps are alike....having the best situation and still crying to make it even more lopsided(that is why I resigned from being an Imperial Colonel).
