the point is up until a lil while ago all we had to appreciate at master was a ship u needed other peoplel to have fun in or be effective at fighting and a ship that costs millions!!!

Why would a Falcon style ship cost millions??????

it should cost the exact same as all the other master ships as the amount of resources for either B-Wing, Opressor, Decimator, Nova are all exactly the same.

no special resources to be honest at all...

And at 5000k mass you will never use it all so resouces values dont mater as much on it for mass, maybe for the ships chassie but not mass.

Total amount I spent on my master ships... Extractor fee's and 10,000 credits i paid a ship wright to make them with my resources.

ok first all pepl=(people) i wasnt complaining about privateer i was simply pointing out the original intent of th e authors post here, and secondly b4=(before) u=(you) take my words lccrp u best know what ur talking about , if ud=(you would)stopped and noticed the "and'" in my statement then ud see i was talking about the yt and the kse, the kse being the one that costs MILLIONS!!! and furthermore for all the hard headed pepl out here in forum land, the author was merely pointing out the lack of a fighter at master, thats all i ever cared about was the reasoning behind only giving us 2 ships at master , and yes i wanted to fly the yt, i wont lie but thats not the whole reason, mostly i just wanted to do my own thing up there, and i can btw choose to fly my factions flag when i choose just like al u other pepl out there(overt), it doesnt matter to me if u fly rebel imp or nuetral, if ur overt in space then ur flying for ur facction end of story. also i never complained about ship mass, types of ships, blah blah or nething else i just wondered why we only got 2 ships at master while u guys were enjoyimg youre oppressors and bwings, and some may say well the ties only get 1 gun or the adv only gets 2 where it should get 3 well the reason behind this is prolly the same reason u cant paint ur ships for continuity sake(now thats devs words not mine) and why shouldnt a kimo get more mass than ur tie adv. ?? have u even seen a kimo next toan adv.? the kimo is 3 times the size!! in all actuality and in keeping with physical laws , of course the kimo well have more mass!! the rebel ships are the same they are small in comparison. honestly i dont know why i try explaining things to u pepl, u obviously for the most part are under the age of 13 , because ur arguments have no validity at all.

sincerely

Man i never thought i would be the person to pick on somones spelling, because mine sucks. I hate Internet speak hahaha. Nothing personal, spelling has taken a back burner in school lately. They worry more about teaching kids to pass Proficiency Tests, rather then actually learning real life issues.

/poke /poke Dont take it personal man, my spelling blows goats too for the most part.

I've played both Nutural and Reb, and trust me with all the ships you get in your lower levs you get enough. My reb buddies always complained when were were all low, that they had to fly a crudy Y-Wing and I got some of the best ships in the game. Trust me nuturals have it good. As for theamparks and such... the story is about Reb vs Imp... not much room for a Great Nutural experaince =(

It's all about benefits and trade-offs.

As a rebel, we have among the highest mass, but the WORST handling ships. (How many masters use the Longprobe? Nearly all of them that don't have a Firespray since the Bwing handles like a pig, the Awing has ONE weapon and only 65k mass, and the Xwing handles decently, but with 100k mass is hardly going to handle it's own)

The imperials get by FAR the best handling ships, but for the most part don't get much mass (now the Oppressor has mass AND handling, but I won't digress into whining).

The freelance has the best of both worlds, and now that they have the master fighter, have nothing to complain about.

I'd say that freelance possibly should be weaker. After all, the imperial navy would have vast resources to make awesome fighters, and the rebels would have access to stolen technology for such military fighters. Freelance having equivalent ships is like Bill Gates having an F-16. LOL

freelance ship design is essentially backed by the hutts.

remember the Hutts are so powerful the emporer doesnt mess with em.

DEEEEEP pockets too.

the ships that arent hutt financed are Black Sun, they obviously love they're big guns too.

these are powerful criminal organziations with alot of resources available, these werent designed and built by John Q. Nobody.

Keep in mind that the Black Sun is run secretly by Prince Xizor who himself is one of the Emperor's confidants and the greatest rival to Darth Vader for standing with the Emperor. The Black Sun network rivals the size and power of the Hutts' organization only they are more under the table. Hutts are spoken of openly, Black Sun is whispered about in the back booth of the Mos Eisley Cantina.

I used the TIE Advanced through out Tier 4, including the vette mission, but I know quite a few Imperial pilots whoswear by their TIE Bomber all the way even after reaching Ace, so I don't think they don't deserve to stay alive, LOL.

I hope the devs will reduce the PVP damage by another 50% so we can finally have combined arms in PVP. Right now it'smostly Advanced Vs A-Wings.

Hey i just got done doing my 1st master mission and got the UGLIEST jacket i have ever seen so i wanted to bring up some points as to why we are getting shafted unolike the rebs/imps

1. We get ugly helmets and jackets as a reward

2. At master we get a multi ship yet no Master fighter or bomber unlike imps and rebs

3. Our Privateer Special Ship isnt a privateer ship its multi faction ship

4. If we were to get a master lvl fighter we have to hope that we dont pay 25million credits for it

So i ask why do neutrals get such a shaft all we want is to be equal to the other pilots i mean even on the ground we get themeparks but nothing like that of the imps/rebs ahh well i guess thats life huh
So i get shafted by being a BH and a Neutral lol gotta love it

Don't be dissin' the Samus helm. I'll take it if you don't want it . And you got the Krayt now. Don't know how good it is though. Not a flame... just don't diss the Samus helm

The argument about "powerful criminal" syndicates allowing them to have awesome fighters doesn't really hold. Top fighters/bombers in the current day: US-built, Russian-built, and in the future possibly Chinese-built/Indian, etc. Note, these are all governments, with accesss to far more resources than a criminal syndicate.

Oh, I forgot about the awesome Mafia fighters.....Or the amazing fighters used by the Yakuza....The amazing Russian mob bombers....The astounding Jamaican posse medium attack craft...LOL.

My argument is just for the sake of "reality". I don't truely think that freelance should be given mere transportation, but it is rather strange that they now have one of the most amazing all-around performing ships in the master level.

you ever hear of the RSF. yes the royal security forces. this is a neutral pilot faction. the smuggler one follows your point but the RSF would easly have ships for pilots joining and more advanced fighters for fending off naboo.

Actually, don't bring reality into this...
This universe is quite different from ours, but there are some similarities...
Basicaly we have arms manufacturers who produce weapon systems. Sienar and Incom both have affiliations to one faction or the other, but there are companies who make ships for local governments and powerful entities outside the 2 main factions in the GCW.
These are those ships.
As for the uberness of the Krayt Gunship... it's probably the best heavy fighter out there, but it doesn't have the launcher capabilities of other ships and is really best used as either a single place 210k mass fighter, or a two seat escort ship. It's not a missle ship like the Tie Bomber or the Y-Wing or Y-WLP.
As for the similarities to our world, Many front line fighters find thier way into smaller countries arsenals, as well as some planes that are not used by the larger countries. F-5's are a good example, we in the US don't use them, but they are a popular fighter around the world. You can find examples of planes used by countries who further the development for thier own needs, Isreal and Japan with the F-16 series are good examples of this.
Our crime syndicates are not what they are in the game, so they haven't reached a level where they could own/operate such weapon systems. But if they could, don't think they wouldn't.
