On subject:With the new Master Ship and all those nifty programs the Neutrals are no longer shafted so I'm not sure why this subject persists.
Off subject: The Hutts and the Dark Star Syndicate are not comperable to the Mafia. The Hutts are a nation outside of Imperial Control whose criminal enterprises extend into Imperial space. The Dark Star Syndicate is more of a semiautonomous nation that is granted this privilage because of their loyalty to the Empire.

Another thing to remember about the Hutts is that they are not just a group of loosely connected criminal organizations, they are a species dedicated to crime. Essentially Nal Hutta (Hutt home world) is owned, run, and populated by one huge criminal organization with several big shots that run their own little syndicates, like Jabba (the other native sentient species have almost no power in the government). So, basically you have an entire world dedicated to one thing only, being the best criminals they can be. To this end they would equip their people (employees of other species as well as other Hutts) with the best equipment money can buy (and the Hutts are supposed to have tremendous monetary resources, like swim in it kind of money).

in my opinion the rihk is by far the best ship in the game...it out flies the opp and b-wing, out guns any of the imperial ships, more mass then any lv 4 ship, more guns than any ship until you master, then the b-wing (correct me if I am wrong) has 4 guns....who got the shaft??? the imp pilots took it in the shorts my friend on any of the ships out there...I have both a imp master and privateer 4333, I love my kimo, that thing takes a but kickin and keeps going...i listen to my friends gripe and complain about privateer ships, i say fly imp or reb then talk to me...the prior posters are right the neutrals take no side why should you benefit??? you guys are supposed to be smugglers...hence this where (I know) the smugglers need more content in space...just my 2 cents....
