I got my freebie Scyk and headed to the Coronet starport to check her out. I go to the terminal, select the Scyk, and choose "Launch to Space." I get the screen freeze that usually occurs when the game has to load a new area, but instead of going to a loading screen, it stays frozen for a few minutes, then dumps me to the login server.

Any ideas?

Swede I just have to say, seeing you post in Live is a huge relief. Don't be too scared for the masses...the way I see it if they are offensive and cannot offer up anything that is constructive, forget about them. You have no idea the kind of influence you will have on this community if you keep posting and helping us out. TH and Tiggs do a great job but even they don't understand the game as well as the actual developers (no offense TH and Tiggs!) and I'd like to think that they would agree with me.

Top/Bottom invun is still there. In order to get an actual hit on the more bulky fighters, you need to shoot in front of it, and hope the ship will 'run into it' rather then hit it on it's side. The other way is to do strait on fly-bys...

I am experiencing a bug where the blasters on my recruiter Z95 are shooting (graphic and audio wise) but they are doing ZERO damage to enemy fighters and they are using ZERO energy from my weapons capacitor. If I disconnect and reconnect they work again.



I'm also "rubber banding" in space once in a while.... had that in beta too.

I just had the invisable lasers occur, happend to be on a capture mission and i couldnt see how much damage i was doing. Then the light transport exploded in maybe 10 shots from my noob blasters... However the ship remained, it was still targeted, and i still had it targeted, despite its chunks waving around in front of me. Then it vanished.

Ok, update on my bug. After 50 minutes of testing, I got the issue again with doing a patrol mission and having to go against a tier 2 wing commander. 80% of my shots passed right through. And after 7 minutes I was able to disable my target. While they were disabled/idle in space I took a position 150m in front of them and attempted to blast them. All of my ion cannon bolts passed right through.



Could this issue be because it was a tier 2 ship (therefore more difficult) and that, like you said Ions are good for shields but not much else?

Not sure if anyone said this, but look at your weapons.. Somthing i noticed in beta when i had the same issue. and i was making my own weapons


Basicly weapons have alot of options, 2 are minum and max damage. which alot of people think is important. and on the ground it is.. But not in jtl. what is really important is the Vs shield, Vs armor ratting.. thats the multiplyer for your damage.


basilcy you can have guns that do 100min, to 200 max (this is just for example) these same guns will also have a vs sheild ratting of .003 and a vs armor ratting of 1.30


what that means is instead of doing 100-200 dmg you will acculy be doing .3 to .6 dmg to shields. but 130 to 260 dmg to armor.


Also with weapons you can add mods to them, some are increase shield, or armor dmg, others speed, mass effeicenty, and power efficenty. if you add a shield dmg mod to a weapon (in the craftng phase) the armor damage will drop substatioly. causing some weapons to litterly become ineffective.


So to sum it up, look at the damage vs shield, or damage vs armor mods (it's the multiplyer) that's one of the most importaint thing i feel for weapons

Please fix the Yacht sound bug. When you leave the pilot's seat and return to the seat to pilotthe engine sound (throttle) does not come on. No sound at all.

I'm seeing the exact same thing. I'm piloting a Y-Wing, all Tier 1 crafted equipment. It was happening on a Tier 1 escort mission in the Corellia system. I was fighting un-shielded TIEs. I parked in front of one with a dead engine and shot it in the cockpit, from the left wing, to the right wing, to the rear, everywhere! There was like 1 pixel spot that did damage, but I couldn't manage to find it more than a couple times in a hundred shots! And no, I didn't have the engines or reactor targeted. This is a pretty aggravating bug... :-/

Well, there's a memory leak someplace in the JTL expansion.


I've played, exited, played on a different account, exited, played back on the original account, exited, and each time it gets slower and when I check my available system memory between exit and restarts it keeps decreasing. Please keep in mind that JTL is the *only* change to my system in the past 10 days. A system reboot fixes this but I should be able to go more than a few exit and relaunches without having to reboot.


Also, the last game I bought was Evil Genius (about 10 days ago) and I've tried the play, exit, play, etc. with that game without any issues, that is why I am fairly positive it is JTL causing this problem.

Im getting the "rubberbanding" bug, you will be going, then the ship teleports back 100m or so and the engines like restart.I had this all throughout beta... it seems to be mostly from lag but is very annoying and makes me mad haha.

I also have the invisible laser bug too haha. im just full of bugs :-p
