X52 is the only choice.. Once you use this stick and throttle you wont ever use anything else.. So worth the money and more

Add rudder pedals to that X52 and you're in heaven.

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

Does anyone have a good x52 profile for JTL they'd be willing to share?

I'm dying to start using mine but I'm a little overwhelmed by all the buttons and I can't figure out what I want mapped where.

Whacked, Pixell. I don't have that problem. Might it be the button bindings in the Wingman Profiler conflicting with key bindings in the game?

I've had this problem with every single logitech stick I've owned, on different PCs even. I figured the software was just crap and never installed it anymore. Luckily JtL isn't complicated, but I do miss being able to program my hat.

The only thing SOE could make that doesn't suck is a vacuum cleaner. Fix the effing game, and I'll fix my account.

That is a strange problem, and it sucks that you can't use the very helpful software. Have you put much effort into fixing the conflict, or do you care to do so? I'd wager we could suss out the culprit and solve the issue if we all put our heads together.

Thanks. Yes, i did try, but gave up. this problem dates back to playing Mechwarrior 4, which was a number of years ago. I've tried the wingman forums, the game tech forums, buying new gear (tried 3d, wireless, and 3d extreme, even a gamepad), trying different PCs and chipsets (via and nvidia), tried several versions of directx (from 7 through 9.0c), tried all the little utilities from the wingman site, including driver versions, cleaners, calibrators etc.

Specifically, what happens is the axis goes all out of whack. In the control panel it's ok, but in game I fly as if I'm a dog on a leash tethered to running in circles (kinda ironic since I'm an imp bothan, lol, some would argue i should be leashed). As soon as wingman software is no longer resident in memory, it works fine.

I use the logitech dual pro. It's basically a copy of the PS2 controllers and it is a cheapy, but I'm not one of those guys with a big need for a joystick or game controller. Basically, the only reason I got it was to play Madden 2004. I later found that it works very well for JTL also. May not be as fancy, but it gets the job done.

I just bought a saitek cyborg graphite for 20 bucks from wal-mart. It may not be very fancy, but works for me.

Any chance you can send it to me as well? I should be getting my x52 in the next day or two.

Thanks!

Using my old Saitek X35T. Black and functional looking without all the neon colors of the newer ones and yet still USB.

Use it for everything except chatting.

I use the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Didnt have to set anything up. Just installed the latest software and it was already preprogrammed for everything in my ship. Works like a dream.

Anyone else here using the old FLCS/TQS combo? I've got mine now for 8 years and they're still working fine.
