I'm just wondering... can you become neutral then get the YT-1300 and then become whichever faction your in?

No. To use it you must have the Neutral Pilot skills and keep it so you can fly the YT-1300.

in an interview it said that the yt-1300 would not be able to do pvp yet in the screen shots it shows it blowing up a tie fighter are these npc or what is the deal?

a rumour that has absolutely no truth in it what so ever my friend. Yesterday it was the firespray, today its the YT - will people stop panicing all the time please!

if you launch overt, you can pvp.
so heres the situation:
REBEL becomes a Privateer.
he buys a YT-1300
he launches, overt
he can blow up other Imp players.

go to SWG. stratics. they have teh JTL interview with the devs their. that will explain alota teh overt/pvp stuff for yah all... and YT-1300 is a PvP like all ships...

Alright If im a Imperial Pilot, can I get the Yt-1300 when i get Ace? or it just not there for me?

The Multi-Passenger ship for Imps is the Decimator, and there were a lot of IMps in Beta that loved it.

Anyone else notice that the devs removed 2 of the cockpit seats out of the YT-1300? In there place now are targetable pipes on the side walls for engine and reactor repairing. I know it's not gamebreaking or anything, but those specialseats really gave the yt-1300's cockpit that true star wars feel. By looking at the layout of inside the cockpit, surely these subcomponent terminals could have been moved higher on the wall allowing the chairs to stay. I may be a-retentive about little details like this, but to me they mean a lot.
For clarification, the main 2 cockpit chairs are there, it's the back 2 cockpit chairs that are missing now.
