They are there. But a pilot cant see them, only your pasangers. Try this trick: activate Hyperspace somethere and runaway from the pilot seat. After jump you must see them.

You have to craft, buy and place them... maybe...

TheCoreDump, this is not true, those seats are not craftable in-game. Devs give us back our passenger seats!

Yeah, I am talking about the specially modeled seats seen in the clicky in my original post. These are not craftable by players and there is no "trick" to make them appear, they have been removed, no need to shoot in the dark for an "answer". In their place are subcomponent terminals.
Looking at the screenshot in the clicky there IS room higher on the curved wall to place such terminals, without having to take the seats out. The seats were taken out as a sacrifice for the terminals. If the art designers had taken a few moments of thought they could have easily placed the terminals in a slightly different area and kept the seats in the ship.

Well, those two chairs weren't the only things that was removed from the YT, it came entirely prefurnished. Which was pretty bad so the people asked the Devs to remove the furniture. People also asked the Devs to give the furniture as schematics to architects since it was really a LOT of cool, starwarsy stuff in there. Unfortunately this hasn't happened yet (not even commented on actually).
As for the newcategories under misc... yes, there are several, Turret Access Ladder and Operations Chair are the only ones I can recall at the moment. Something for the future I suppose. Or perhaps not... just look at the cloak category.

This doesn't surpirse me at all. The ship dosen't look the least bit authentic. Instead of a proper yt-1300 floorplan you get a cockpit (apparently the devs used the toy ship as a reference) and a donut corridor. Thats it, save for the ladder to the turrets. Oh and all these stupid pipe thingys all over the place. I would like to see all these pipes disappear, an authentic floorplan (with the big room) and the correct cockpit. But I don't expect they will change it.

You've gotta be kidding me... The YT-1300 is the most recognized ship in all of Star Wars. Even those cave dwellers who said they had seen Star Wars know what one looks like, even if they can't identify it by name. Everyone who has ever seen Star Wars pretty much knows exactly how the ship looks. All this, and you are telling me the devs completely borked it?
Oh hell no.
Oh hell no.

Errr...I think that picture was taken during beta days, which means they could change it around how they liked.
But really, does two less seats mean it's not a YT-1300 anymore? Is your RP experience ruined by it? Maybe they werent avaliable on the stock freighter (which you are flying) and Han had them installed on the Falcon (which you are not flying)
Realisticly, if you have two extra people to fill those seats, they should be in the turrets gunning for you.
No offense or no flame intended, but there are more important things than this that need fixing.

I went up in my YT-1300 last night and I could swear I saw the 2 chairs behind the pilot and co-pilot seats. I'm disappointed the damn alarm won't go off
