The YT-1300 is supposed to be a freighter that look like the mellenium falcon. Is there any ship that looks like the mellenium falcon and is only for fighting. I didnt know mellenium falcon was a freighter.

Han Solo used the Falcon primarily for smuggling (transporting) spice and other questionable items. It also needed to having ablilities to fight to get out of tight situations and such.

u are supposed to do that part yourself by upgrading and retrofitting it w. new parts.

Thruout the ship there are shielded hidden compartments for smuggling stuff in.

Kinda backwards here. The YT-1300 IS a freigher. The Millenium Falcon is one of thousands used throughout the galaxy. The Millenium Falcon was tweeked out to the max and needed constant maintenance. Though sheer luck, all the kludge systems somehow became an epic type starship through synergy.
I would not expect the top end YT-1300 to be a match for the top end star fighter.

basic knowledge.
the falcon was ALWAYS a freighter and just heavily modified by han solo.
its a correlian freighter to be correct

Not just Han, but by the previous owners aswell.
Corellian Engineering Corporationlight freighterto be even more exact.

With the YT-1300 most of us have seen one right? It has top and bottom guns. because it is transport. will passengers be able to control these guns? im not sure if this has been asked before or not. but i think it will be interesting to have ur mates controlling the guns in a space battle. rather than helpless in the freighter.

Yup you can. infact there is a video on stratics that shows someone walking on the YT-1300 and useing the turret.
