Yup, very easy. Quantum entanglement.
Now how do you incorporate that into a device....
were can i loot them

TH, HOW DARE YOU!!!... Star Wars dev and everything...
You simply send someone into hyperspace with all your packets!
"She'll make 1.5 past lightspeed"
You could try two modems, some ISPs will allow you to connect your computer useing two modems, in the same computer, at the same time. I did it a few times playing SWG and it did help.
You will need a second phone line for the second modem.

Nope, get hamsters on steroids on the wheels that operate, then feed them pop rocks. The sugar rush accompanied by the explosiveness of the candy should theoretically super charge their legs to move faster than the speed of light.....
Or make them blow up.

Well, as much as i'd like to say that i'd do any thing to be able to get the full content of this game.....
The cost of running multiple PCs on dial up, plus keeping the sat for the normal use (e-mail, surfing, etc) OR adding multiple phone lines, plus dial up for each one..... it begins to become unrealistic. Keep in mind this is comming from some one that bought a desk top to be able to play.
From my experience with dial up, the game is playable on it.
And for those of you who have suggested ther things..... thatnks, I do apreciate the ideas!!! I really do. But i'm honestly not kidding, nor exagerating when I say that my options are dial up or satelite. My neighbors are cows, for some reason they don't have a great demand for a quality ISP =).
Ah the good life in the country.... peace, quiet.... fresh air...... and no quality ISP. =)

If I can just perfect my wormhole generator, we can send a request packetfor information to the satellite, request it, and send it back again...at nearly the exact instant the packet was requested.
It's just a matter of either working with or ruling out exotic matter, of course in an arbitrarily small amount, to keep the throat of the wormhole open just enough to pass photons through -in a stable and predictable route.
I'll get right on it.

Make it so, Lt. LaForge.

It can't be fixed either. The problem is the takes about 0.34 seconds for a packet to go up to the satelite back back down again. Another 0.34 seconds for a response packet to come back. That's the speed of light to and from a satellite in geosyncronous orbit. Nothing technically can be done about it. It's also the reason why Modulo 128 flow control was added to the X.25 communication protocol way back when.

Just to add my 2 cents, I can confirm this.I just recently changed from a satellite company to a cable company and my game got much better.I had the same problems mentioned above (disconecting, not registering direct hits in space, etc.) and since I changed all is OK and a lot faster.Hope this helps our fellow gamers.
Yeah, satellite technology is very cool, but it just isn't fast enough to support MMO gaming.
That is some great technical info. Is it a hobby of yours?
Nah. I use to work for AT&T Tridom as a DEV support X.25 data communications over satellite. I constantly had to explain to customers why their throughput sucked because they were trying to push data through the pipe while it was set to Modulo 8 with a credit window of something like 4. Considering that the packet with the acknowledgement was coming back after 0.67 seconds, the flow control was keeping the throttle closed off. Kinda works like a governor on an old steam engine. Once they set the modulo to 128 and opened the credit window to 127, the data came blasting through.
No matter how you slice it, interactive data communications over satellite is gonna suck. Better only figure on using it for more of the batch type of transfers.
