I bought this game on release day and I've been a paying subscriber of this game for around 358 of the 365 days its been in release. I even *paid* to play in the beta test, yet I don't qualify as a "veteran". Way to take my money and slap me in the face Sony. Don't expect any cookies from me. This tactic will go a long way towards convincing me to quit the game before JTL comes out, but wont do much to say thank you for all the support I've already given this game. Isn't that what veteran rewards are for?

I love the gift, but I have one question (I'm not sure if it was already answered, so if it was, sorry): Is this one of the ships that the Devs were hoping on "squeezing" in for launch, or was it already one of the "15 ships." Just wondering...

wow.... I noticed the ship thing yesterday when i was logging in. In game I told my guild mates and we we're pretty jazzed about the ship. Even the newer people in our guild should have 6 mos of gaming by luanch of JTL. Then today I'm reading through the thread, basically hoping I'd find info on some more neat stuff. I know i read Pex's message saying there would be more to come over the next couple of days. And what I find is a bunch of people not satisfied with the ship. This is what i have to say on the matter..
Everyone in my guild and the other guilds of the city we live in already planned to buy the JTL game expansion for the last YEAR!
I don't think them giving us a free ship is a verygood hook to get people ot buy the expansion since it's fighter capabilities probably won't be that great (after all, it's a freaking yacht). I can't believe all this trash talk over money hungry Sony... People, I pay my $15 a month, and for that I get access to an incredibly advanced game where I can do nearly anything I want to. And it's not time limited, and it can not be beaten. Now, myself being a gamer, prior to SWG launch I was buying on average 2 console games per month, average price about $40-$50. Since SWG Luanch, there have been only 3 console games i've purchased.. So I figure over the last year I would've normally Spent over $1,000 on console games, instead I spent about $150 and I spent $460 on SWG (I have two accounts, so about $100 initial price and $30/month) That figure only comes up to $610, thats about $400-$500 less That I have spent over the last year than I normally would have. For a company just out to get all of our money.. this doesn't make since to me. Why would they make a game that enthralls me and charge $15 a month where as I was buying over $100 a month worth of PS2 games???
I know my $15 pays for server upgrades, bandwidth, techies, property, utilities, CSRs and a building full of talented people trying to give me more FUN for my $15/mo. I would like to thank all of the Dev Team. You guys have done a good job so far. I'm not saying I don't have my own problems with the game.. My inventory has been bugged to heck since last patch. I am saying that for my 50 cents I pay to sit down, chat with friends blast some reb's and eventually blow some X-wings outta the skies. I am content.
And if the Dev's wanna give me something cool when JTL hits, thats great! I will probably spend a couple hours getting it pimped out then cruise around exploring in it. And if I don't get a Yacht, I'm still going to buy the expansion.I was not expecting a free in game yacht, but i was expecting a great game (JTL) for $30 and no addt'l monthly fees.
Again, thanks to all the Dev's that make this game work... for the most part... It's a great game even with a few glitches, and they usually get taken care of pretty quick.
Keep up the great work!

My account has been active since the beginning of the game (1 year). It was recently canceled . Does this mean I wont get the luxury yacht when my account is renewed?
Thanks,

Credit cards expire, when they do, the account is put into an inactive state. I and my wife have been playing since day 1.Our credit card expired and we had to enterinthe new dates. This was the only time the account was"inactive"
we NEVER canceled.
we NEVER canceled.
Please clarify this issue. For us 12 month vets this is something that we wantto be clear on.
Thanks for the reward!
Thanks for the reward!

Oh thats real nice. I had no control of the person who canceled my account. He was going to renew it for me the day the subscription is up.
