I found this on a website ( http://www1.theforce.net/ ) which was quoting from "Dark Force Rising Sourcebook" by Bill Slavicsek (West End Games).
The Lady Luck
Lando Calrissian's personal ship, the Lady Luck was a modified SoroSuub PLY 3000 pleasure yacht. Formerly owned by an Orthellin royal mistress, the ship was richly appointed. Lando rigged it with a straight-line, homing-beacon type of full-rig slave circuitry. Other modifications to the weapons and defenses were also made. The ship was originally designed to be a mobile base of operations for the suave smuggler, who often entertained his female friends onboard. However, as Lando became increasingly active with the New Republic military, he made several modifications to give the Lady Luck more firepower and protection. A Class 3 hyperdrive allowed the ship to swiftly move across the galaxy, and it could reach speeds of 820 kilometers per hour in atmosphere. Advanced sensor systems and communications transceivers gave Lando the ability to keep in touch with civilian and military contacts. Outwardly, the Lady Luck still resembled a pleasure yacht, as the only visible waeponry was a laser cannon mounted on the belly. However, retractable weapons systems allowed five more laser cannons and a turret-mounted ion cannon to be brought to bear during a fight. The most unique element of the Lady Luck's design was its observation deck. Lando allowed the deck to remain open to the surrounding environment, which gave him the ability to entertain his guests "outside". To protect the passengers while in space, Lando installed a heavy-duty force field to surround the deck and allow beings to watch the stars as the ship moved between worlds.

Consecutive means that if you cancel your subscriptionand come back, you start over again. This is an incentive reward for continuously playing through to Jump to Lightspeed. In this case, "Veteran" means 6 months. If we add additional veteran rewards in the future, they may be shorter or longer in terms of time requirements.
No fair just because we cancell doesn't mean we aren't veterans to this game. We all take breathers from games and some of us don't want to pay for that. I've been here since launch with a break from May-late June...You should count overall time that adds up to 6 months...or else your really greedy and mad you didn't get paid

wheres the reward for beta testers!
i think if we were in beta but missed our resubcription at some point by a day or so, due to not being able to find cards (as mentioned) we should get the ship , eh?
but yea, i love this reward ..regardless of the stipulations.

First, I think the ship looks cool.
Now my question....If I cancelled my one year subscription but renewed before my first subscription ran out, do I still get the ship?

Don't you all get it?
They've took the option that guarantees people to keep playing, while players who have played a very long time are being overlooked. In essence its not a veteran reward at all, but a carrot on a stickthat will guarantee Sony subscriptions to SWG till JTL launch.
Happy Anniversary

I have a stupid qustion. I have had a sub since day two beacuse of the problems with the comps on day one. But I have had computer problems for at least seven months but I never cancelled my sub. but at the sametime didn't get any game time. So the qustion is....Do I count as a Vet beacuse of the year sub. Or not beacuse of the lack of game-play? Either way it doesn't bother me just wondering.

Ok one question to those saying veterans should be those playing for 10 to 12 months is that American servers or european servers, because I'm afraid to say it hasn't been launch for anywhere near 12 months yet in Europe. European launch was November 2003 so what your asking is us europeans shouldn't be classed as vets yet we have been here since launch. Any vet reward has to take into consideration us europeans that couldn't play the game until November 2003.

Does anyone else feel slapped in face, because thepowers that behave took a more money making option than rewarding players for playing the game?
I HAVE PAYED MORE THAN 6 MONTHS OF SUBCRIPTIONS AND PLAY THIS GAME MORNING TILL BEDTIME YET IM NOT A VETERAN.
THIS IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
