Okay, lets ignore the forced PvP already implemented, that is being scanned for contraband. HINT HINT.. PvP is inevitable.

Why not move the Master mission out to a PVE-sector for the NEUTRAL players? They still would have the choice to either do a pve mission or join up with either Rebs or Imps and do the mission in the Kessel system.

As some stated, there are 3 faction, Rebs, Imps and neutral players. If you dont want to have anything to do with pvp, stay neutral, I suppose thats what that faction is for anyways. Even for non-pvp players it should have negative impact on rp if a Xwing is killing a Tie fighter next to you and only thing you can do is watch...not very much of a rpg imho.

But you were right on the dont force someone to pvp, of you dont want it, stay neutral and complete the mission in another system.

Besides the fact...during the last attacks on our city, there were more ppl participating as ppl in Coronet at prime time (dont tell me all other players were solomob killing on Endor...)

So...non-pvp players take neutral side and nobody will harm you or pick a side and risk pvp.

my 2 cents

Actually, that's not quite comparable with the "forced PvP" in JTL.

In the ground game you can actually escape said forcing mechanism by staying neutral, in JTL you don't have that option.

That's not to say that I actually agree with the overt tag forced through contraband scans. A TEF would be all that is needed. Where is the logic in being turned overt for a minimum of one hour for carrying some illegal goods, when you just get a 5-minute TEF after murdering a Storm trooper?

vico, you are absolutely right, ill start a petition right now ALL players who attack FACTION npcs should be instantly turned OVERT, as attacking a rebel or stormtrooper are not the actions of a COVERT player.

Okay, contraband is illegal, being rebel is against the emporer's wishes. When you get scanned you are declared a rebel if they find items on you.. are you not?

f people like killing npcs why the hell do they play an mmorpg and buy some console game instead

people that dont like pvp its people that dont like to lose and generaly just are too lame to beat other players so they just whine "not fair"

it reminds me of when i was 6 years old and you would beat your friend in a game of soccer , then he would just say "i dont want to play anymore" the first time you scored against him .

Let me think a second...well...maybe...I dont know...oh yeah

To group with friends and make new ones to hang out at the VR soda shoppe you know the usual things people do in MMOs.

You are missing the point here. Carrying a few drugs/illegal equipment is actually much worse than slaughtering a high ranking officer (Or for that matter, a simple trooper) with this setup.

No, im not missing the point here. Scans are getting rare because of "I don't want to fight, I just want to participate in the GCW" people. Getting a TEF for killing NPC's just keeps all that nonsense down.
