you lost me on this one...let me see if this is correct.
I have the yacht and I have it decorated and I own a imperial shuttle with nothing in it. I can't launch the imperial shuttle as long as the yacht has items in it???
unbelievable
As if there werent enough reasons to delete this "reward" given that its a non-upgradeable ship
TH, surely you can see that this is completely useless now. You know we spend hours decorating our houses (and soon our ships) and now we have undecorate one ship before we can launch a 2nd undecroated one!? unacceptable
The group would not appear on multiple ships ... we get to select the ship we are launching too no?
addition: I want to make this clear: Since this is non-upgradeable any of us vets who want a useful multi-player craft will be forced to have 2nd multip-player craft other than this "reward". The reward cannot be upgraded and so is useless for anything other than looks ... but we cannot decorate it or we will not be able to launch the one multi-player ship we have that can do something other than look pretty.
unacceptable.

How about making an item cap accross all multiplayer ships.. So if the cap was 250, you could have 125 items on each of your ships.
This is a good idea ... TH ... please see if this is possible as it would make a lot of people much happier ... plus can you tell us the item cap and engine capabilities as well as what level of certification it takes? Oh and how many 8 or 20?
Tommas 8-)

calomac wrote:Hey TH, can we put vendors in ships? I think that would be cool for the bar when I open up my buisness.Yes, you can put furniture and anything else you could place in a player structure on the ground.
You can only launch one multiplayer ship at a time though and you can only have "stuff" in one multiplayer ship at a time. So If you are flying around in your YT-1300 and want to land and Head out on the Yacht, you will have to empty the first vehicle of all it's items. Otherwise players would load up both ships and it would lead to a lot of dead database space.
So we have a ship we can decorate, but if we want to run missions or anything else we have to take out all decorations and find another place to store stuff? As if storage isnt enough of an issue now. I hope you have the asbestos undies handy.Rereading a bit...maybe this means you can leave deco in one multiplayer ship and still use a fighter w/o undecorating? This is also correct - - this rule applies to multiplayer vehicles only.
Well... I think this pretty much rules out most of us owning both a Yacht and a Multi-Player ship. It forces us to chose one or the other.
great looking ship can't wait to use it

Please consider other options! For example, you could require us to donate lots to additional mp ships. I will gladly fork over a couple lots if it means I can decorate an extra mp ship.
"why would anyone want an unarmed, invulnerable ship? Well the answer had to be, "because it looks COOL!""
Fundamental conceptual design flaw.
The proper answer should be. "Because it is fun."
With every change you guys make you need to ask yourself this, "How will this change make the game more fun."

Now this guy is a real outside the box thinker. You devs need to hire him if you want things to go right.

It would be very cool if this was a button toggle where it would "remember" the placement of your items. That way when you decorate a ship you could "switch" them to the other ship and always have the correct placement of items, making it so we wouldnt have to re-decorate everytime. If this is the case I will only be using my YT-1300 instead of the Yacht.
I promise to work with the team to see if there are any other alternatives here...
