Re: Master level missions: a SOLUTION to make everyone happy.
- Kessel becomes a PvE zone
- Master Pilot Boxes can be attained without PvP
Very sad decision...you're taking away content from players who like PvP. I don't unterstand this decision.
Please search another solution for the no-pvp-to-master-problem.
What about the neutral pilots who enjoyed being able to be on one side or the other. You are killing this aspect for us.

It's very disapointing to see these changes coming - Kessel was a very fun place (and no i'm not master, i'm 3333). It was fun because it created the feeling of danger. I can see why you changed it - The vast majority of players in this game can't handle anything that may possibly cause them to lose. They've been pampered by underpowered mobs, and success on a silver platter. As soon as you put something in the game that may actually be dangerous, they all cry out in unison that it's not fair.
I've been taken down in Kessel several times, as well as taken out a few people - it adds to the feeling... everytime a player comes near, you feel like you are in very big trouble... there is nowhere in the game (except deep space now) where this feeling of impending doom surrounds you... i will miss it.
THEN GO OVERT BEFORE YOU TRANSFER TO KESSEL
JTL Overt = I want to PVP
JTL Covert = I do not want to PVP
Correct - you can still play PvP in the zone. Just hit a Faction Space Station and declare...
What about us neutrals who get the message "Pick a side before you talk to me again" message from all factional space stations??

Why did I get one-starred for this?? It's a valid concern.
Many are saying, "What's the big deal? Declare and go to Kessel!"
One problem with that: What about us neutrals who wish to remain neutral and like the RP aspect of being able to attack and be attackable by both sides?
Now, as a pre-master, if I want to PvP, I can't. All factional space stations tell me "Pick a side before you talk to me again". There is no neutral declaration.
I cannot PvP in space at all now. Period. I've never PvP'd before and wanted to try it. The devs wanted non-PvPers to give it a try, now I can't.

TH,
Are there any plans for a % reduction on PvP damage for JTLS? Right now, pretty much EVERYONE is a one shot kill.
Yep
Yes, please. Khade did a one shot kill on me the other night. of course i was in a level one ship and he was in a tie bomber. it was Accept duel, blammo. you are dead.

Ground PvP Take 2. May as well give us ship composite armor, too.
Please don't do a reduction. How about putting something in that will allow shipwrights to beef up the shields and armor?
Like looted adders to give to shipwrights to beef it up? Something. Anything, but a damage reduction. Do we not learn anything from history? Is our hindsight not 20/20??

I fully expect to get shot to heck the first few times I try it. Anyone who thinks the mission should be easy simply needs to readjust their expectations and their work ethic.C
I agree. Except about "work ethic". There's no such thing in swg. IT'S NOT REAL LIFE. It's just a game. One that you come to expecting to get away from all the work of rl, not enter into a new world of endless grinds and impossible thingy majiggers. But pilot is not an endless grind, and the master missions are not impossible. They're fun and balanced. They force you to group and fight alongside the people in that group. Grouping used to be what made swg so much fun. JTL, for now, brings it back. =)

The PVP'ers call it skill. But Camping someone who is zoning into Kessel is not skill. it's childish.
