its pretty much random. You might get it on the first killed black sun, or you might get it on your next black sun or you may never get it. Except if you buy it.

i looted two in a row off tier two in tatooine but i deleted them to make room to loot more capacitors

Same sob story as others. Played since launch, killed thousands of Black Sun, and still no helmet.
But lots and lots of boosters!

I am a imperial pilot ace and where can I get a duty mission to kill black suns. Or do you have a planet and wp of where I can find a good spawn. Thanks

golrok dont lie, you cna only get em of tier 4 and 5 blacksuns that spawn in dathomir and endor space, not in tatooine where all the noobs are. Lol your trying to make yourself sound cool by saying i deleted them to make room for capacitors. Dude somone should walk up to you and slap you in the face.

Welli got mine 3 days ago, when i decided to kill some time above endor and on my 6th black sun kill i got one, and the scary thing was i predicted that i was going to get it from that preticular ship i was shooting at. Also to addmy friend talked to a CSR and the CSR said 1:2500 kills is the drop rate.

It only takes 1 Black Sun to drop it, you just need to find him

What kind of ship did you kill that dropped it?
My luck hasn't gotten any better yet. I currently have:
* 83 Million prestige points from Black Sun kills.
* 7.2 Million credits on a credit chip from Black Sun kills.
I've been killing Black Sun off of both the Lok mission (I made a Reb Ace pilot just to get this helmet) and from the slow static spawn.
I'm fearing that I'll have enough credits on my credit chip to buy a BS helmet before I loot one

As an Imperial you can only get Tier4-5 Blacksuns at the static spawn in Endor space (no idea where it is though) or by grouping with a Freelancer or ,Maker forbid, a Rebel. There are no Blacksun duty missions for Imperials.
