Yes, jedi can wear them, although some are supposed to be bugged and count as armor.

no i just bought 1 and it says armor so i cnat wear it and the devs r no help. i sent in 2 tkts and both csr's replied it is suppossed to be armor and they wont fix it. so if u or any1 has a screeny showin 1 as clothin plz post it here.

It also becomes armor if you ADK it.
