Everything I've read says 0-50 terrain negotiation is for hills, 50-100 is for prone. Thus the fastest you're able to run as reached as a master scout. In fact, I'm pretty sure it even says that in the game.

Actually moving up ranger isn't nearly as bad as you might think. Heck, BH by comparison is alot slower. A colleague of mine was a BH/Ranger hybrid for a while. She had the XP for master ranger long before she was far up the BH tree. Those concealment bonuses for mask scent are quite handy on hostile worlds like dathomir or lok - good for squeezing through tight spots of agressiveson your way to a bounty.

Well, i am only a couple days old to the BH profession now and so far is it worth it you ask ? Thats a tough one. Yes in PvP you do very well. However what you won't read on the carb/pistol/rifle boards is how weak we are in pve. Now i am not saying we can't hold our own, but we take hits like a wet noodle. So if it's PvP you want, imo yes its worth it. However if your a person who is looking more towards PvE, then move along. My 2 cents =]

Which is why I'm leaning towards using my 33 extra points for ranger, probably wayfaring III and camping IV (maybe the other way around, depending on what they might do with the high-tech camp). Since I tend to harvest everything I kill, the scouting xp will come naturally. And I know somepeople hate the camping, but the was my first skill to reach tier 4 (out of all my marksman and scout skills). Whenever my health gets too low I set up a camp, turn the timer on for 15 mins, and switch over to reading the forums.

So that's why I'm leaning towards ranger. The other option I was considering was CH. Being a wookie I get a +10 bonus to taming already, so that path makes sense as well.

I was wondering this profession really interestes me, but all ive heard about driod problems and things like that. Is that profession really worth getting into? Could some people that are already driod engineers respond please?

To me it didnt even get intresting until i could make probots. Each box I climb gets better, and making different driods is fun, even if most are useless and buggy right now. I can only hope for the future, the grind really doesnt bother me at all, you just need to geta **edit**load of steel and fiberplast.

unless you have like 10 harvesters is that the only way to really keep up with all that materials you need? or can you survey and be fine?

LOL, if you go from the point of being able to make ADV driod frames on practice, and grind those to the end you need 361,558.44units of steel and 168727.27units fiberplast. Yeah you could do it without harvestors but **edit**me if i want to play the game until im 90, lol

I personally don't use harvesters (yet) and the only time I sample is when I'm waiting for the shuttles to arrive. I buy all my materials from the bazaar and I do just fine. I have two levels of blueprints now so steel and fiberplast is getting sucked out of my inventory faster and faster. I imagine I'll have to give in and get some harvesters because there is never enough fiberplast and steel at reasonable prices to keep up with my demand for them. But yes, you can progress just fine without harvesters.

If you buy your resources at 2 for1(I wish I could find this deal), and find somone with all that steel and fiber you can get the steel for 723,116.86cr and 337,454.54cr for fiber. In this game 1million credits isnt that hard to come by, most i have had so far was 200k.Some people also have PA buddies that hookthem up. For me its harvestors, plus you hit a vein of extrusive ore sell alittle and you can pay for your harvestors for a bit.

I do everything solo so for me its just been easier to use the harvestors. Then i can set it and forget it, except for the shifts every ten minutes.

Currently having a SL leading your group is worthless, EVERY command is LITERALLY worthless, with the SLIGHT exception of rally. Having ANY decent Creature Handler makes a massive differance. Be a Creature Handlaer even if Pets get a 70-80% nerf the will STILL be the most powerfull in terms of what they can do for a group.
