Thread: Interceptor figher for Nuetral?

The A-Wing caps just over 66k mass. I feel something between contempt and pity and poons who cry about not having enough mass in their Actis-2s. Truly sad people deserving of being kicked when down.

The A-Wing will reach just a hair over 66k with exceptional resources, I've been told the TIE Interceptor is around 56k.

Their stats are close enough, that I've already got aworking idea of what would need to be altered from my A-Wing to make a killer TIE Interceptor.

Pretty good 2 light fighter and a med fighter...

Privateer is fine really...

Not really, they only hold about 90k mass at best. A Jedi starfighter holds about 95k mass and an A-wing holds a lot more than that. All rebel ships are highest in mass. IE, a Y-Wing "longprobe" holds about 200k mass. A kimogila holds about 110k mass. A TIE/In hold about 80k (not sure as for the TIE). Those are all the same tier and yet rebel ships hold more. This is true for all levels. An X-Wing holds a lot and is very manuverable. So really the people who get let down are the Imps...go figure. Rebels pretty much got it best.

Than there's the ARC170 or the KSE, but I'm not sure if KSE's are aloud in PvP. Even if they are, they cost a pretty penny.

I like a lot of room to put stuff and have less limitations, I guess that's why I don't like ships with little mass.

lol jedi starfighter is EXACTLY 90k mass, a-wing holds 66k mass on cap, TIE/in is like 40k isnt it? Y-Wing longprobe is around 160k mass. i think the only ship you got close to on mass was the kimogila lol.

Glzmo was a great visionary. Perhaps SOE should have listened to him instead of rebuilding everything all the time.

Lol, sounds like he was assuming the ships mass/manuverability ratios would make sense around the stats of the Space Composite fighter, instead of looking at the real ones x.x

The Dune is 25Kish mass more than an Awing and has 2 gun mounts to the Awings one. It is a tad bit slower than the Awing though. It's YPR is very similar as well. Really, the only downside is that it is the size of a barn. Which is a balance for having that kind of speed and an extra gun. It is a grat ship and can be very effective in PVP. Not so much against a JSF or a Bel-22, but against any pre-ROTW it is great.

Dude, what crack are you smoking? The Dunelizard's about 88k mass, 90k if you have killer resources...

and the Awing is at max 66K. 66K +25K = 91K I said 25Kish..which means not exact, but the general area...88K is in the general area of 91K. And with many Awings being 63K, I hit it on the nose. Now go back and smoke that in your pipe.

Got my b-22 and actis so i an fly those biotches as neutral anytime

Seriously though, freelancers did, perhaps, get the shaft when it comes to interceptors, but I'll gladly gank that annoying jsf with epulse

Like swatting flys with a tornado.

P.S. Just kidding about the epulse thing. I rarely use it unless I'm getting jumped by two or more pilots. Course I have done it just cause the person annoyed me in a previous life, but thats here nor there

Yes, but does the Dune Lizards inherent roll/yaw/pitch attributes compete with the A-wing or Advanced?

What is the ideal throttle for turning? On the A-wing its about 90% throttle for max turning.... I bet the Dunelizard is just like the X-wing, 33% or so.

That's where it gets stomped.

Why has no-one mentioned the heavy scyke? I find them quite a bugger to hit in PvP. 600/600/300 p/y/r accelleration.

Business man, will you make a deal? Do you know who you can trust?

Would you sign your life away? Would you write your name in dust?
