Thread: Please give neutral ships a master ship or make the yt-1300 able to fire weapons solo!!!

Do the math buddy. You got bomber strike wich enables you to do the vette solo with ease! You have the quickest ships (turn/yaw/etc) and you have a master AND a MP ship!

No, you do the math. Your Rihxyrk has 190K mass with 3 weapon hardpoints and handles better than the 170K mass Oppressor which has only 2 weapon hardpoints. Yeah, we have the faster ship but so what?Neutrals have more than enough mass to fit a fast high lvl engine onto their shipstogether with Engine Overload 3 to offset the lower YPR rarios. As for bombstrike, well go make an 4444 imp pilot and see if you can solo the vette with ease. Bombstrikes are only good for drawing enemy fire and support- besides, Imperials are supposed to have advantage in numbers.

If we could at least use the autopilot (as well as /follow) and hyperspace jump while sitting inside the turret/operations station and such, and it wouldn't stop if we left the piloting station/turret/operations stationthere would be far less problems.

What good is an autopilot, when you have to be at the controls all the time inorder touse it, anyway?!

Just give me forward firing guns on the YT and skip another ship. And before you even say: "Han never had forward guns", I am NOT Han, and this isn't the "Falcon". SO, can't I modify mine any way I like? If Han modified his for speed can I for combat?

Lando, before Han had the Falcon, rigged a set up where he could fire one turret with low accuracy from the cockpit - if I recall correctly.

I don't see the harm of the Neutrals getting a Master Level bomber and support that 100%


The YT-1300 should not get a forward firing projectile and I am 100% opposed to that.

I'm sorry to correct you...but, for the record, every profession has the same number of ships.

Each Pilot profession has 6 fighter certifications and 1 multiplayer ship (not counting theFirespray andYacht which are available to all). Its just that all of your fighter ship certs are available before Master unlike Imp and Reb that puts one each in the Master box. Also, there is some confusion with the Rebel Y-wing. There are two versions: one 2 passenger and one single passenger with more mass. On theSWG shipsweb site the TIE Aggressor is listed twice. In total that is 18 fighter certifications, 6 for each profession.


Secondly, the only unfair disavantage that the YT-1300 has is that it less one ordance slot (missile point). The Reb Nova and Imp Decimator havethree MPs while the YT only has two. You can argue that this is unfair and unbalancing for you. However, making the argument that the YT should be soloable is not valid, from a game balance perspective. This is a multi passanger ship just like the other two and there is no reason that it should any different that the other two.

People seem to miss the point that our ships are designed for squadron support. In the Star Wars movies, the books, other games, everywhere you look, ships are designed to complement each other.


Even in RL, all craft are made to support each other.

I completely agree (HOORAY FOR THE KRAYT!!!) but I would like see a change made to the YT-1300. 1 more ordnance hardpoint to level the playing field.

Wow, when was the last time you flew your YT? It has a loot box now, for a couple weeks at least.





The last time I flew the Beebop (my YT) was arround the 11 nov. I think. but I redeed it again, because I have no use 4 it. it's hard to get a crew if 80% of your friend canceled the game
