SWG has always been about choices and limits. Limits on skill points, limits on lots, limits on inventory. It makes you make decisions and not have everything at your finger tips.

The Devs are forcing you to make some decisions. Luckily, they allow redeeding so the decision just involves a small hassle of inventory management.

I don't see this as an issue. Make decisions and plan accordingly.

Oh I am very much in agreement on limits and choices, but to have to make the choice of using our veteran reward and being at a disadvantage in combat or not use our veteran reward is poor.

I don't want extra spaces for ships, i just don't want the yacht to count against the limit, it is a bonus and as such should not count against limits.

i don't disagree with having limits either, however other limits have reasons behind them. equipment/storage space/database issues. skill points=balance issues.

i don't see the rational behind having ship swapping being time consuming or a nuisance. keep in mind, it's not like this is gating someone, or preventing someone from being more powerful, this just makes it slightly more time consuming to switch ships. limits due to balance and or space don't really apply to this situation so that line of reasoning isn't entirely sound.

i see what you are saying, it's just that what advantage would keeping a lower level fighter for show give me? or having enough space to enjoy my sorosub but also have a bomber, a multiplayer combat ship, and a fighter? are they trying to nudge players into adopting space "professions"? why not two ships then? it just seems rather arbitrary.

I think we have plenty of room you are only gonna fly one ship at a time right. By allowing rededing if you wish ot maintain a garage full of ships you simply need to go to your house or manage you inventory such that you can. Yes this is a pain but seriously I think it is unrealistic to think you are paying to park more than three ships at any time. Plus it would only add confusion and lag to the game by giving more that needed to be tracked. personally I will always keep one Multiplayer ship they are big with lots of items. My reward(If I get it I quit for a awhile so still waiting to get the days limit) and a single player ship I want do misisons with. I may have other ships in my house or something based on what I am doing but I can easily live with only having three out at a time. I could even live with 2 but that would be a pain after I got my reward cause I would hate redecorating a multiplayer ship all the time. I would suggest the possibilty of adding a redeed with compontents feature though to reduce the time of reconfiguring ships that would be very helpful and also allow the sale of decked out ships. Not items in Multiplayer ships just the components.

Yes! I outfit individual ships that are ready to fly. Why? Because my buddies and my guild needs me. I can't stand waiting, equipping, and prepping a ship while my buddies and guildies are being blown to bits in Dathomir or Endor Space. You have to be good to go all the time. Imagine saying "I'll be right there . . . . just let me unequip and re-equip my reactor; my shileds: oh and my droid; yada: yada; yada."

No this is unexceptable! JTL is about space combat not waiting in line. That's for starports

that would be a great feature. see it's not an issue of whether or not you can have multiple ships. you already can. it's an issue of the cumbersome workflow behind removing components, deeding, generating, installing components. it just seems to me that there's no real reason to make it intentionally cumbersome. i can see reasons behind not being able to park X amount of ships, that's fine, but it is a game, and since the number of ships you can own isn't limited, i don't see why the game has to be obtuse about it.

Personally, I'm stoked to hear we havea 3 ship limit as I thought the limit was 2, but... it is a valid argument that the yaht shouldn't take up one of those 3 slots.

The yaht is simply a funsy item. It has no weapons and can serve no possible purposed in space other than touring and throwing parties. As a veteran reward people really shouldn't be forced to choose between the funsy yaht and a real space ship that actually does something.

I agree that we dont need more than a 3 ship limit. I also agree that the REWARD ship should not count towards the limit, you should not be penalized for being a veteran. Its not really a reward if you get stunted for it. As far as redeeding with items. No other object in SWG can be redeed with items and neither should a ship. It just makes it even more of a pain in the arse if you need something off of one of those ships that are redeed you have to go through a world of *explitive deleted* to get the one armor piece you need. It also would cause the same amount of data consumption as increasing the ship limit if you can redeed with components.

Just my 3 cents

As far as item storage for ship components is concerned, I don't know if it's a bug but I have all my ship parts stored either in my house or my yacht and can still equip and see them on the management terminal. I feel this is kinda odd though.

Just add a "max ships" skillmod, like CH have... And allow up to 6 ships Well, maybe 5, if you want...

Let's say 1 for every tier, you don't need many slots when you can only have a light duty ship

Could give that +1 Max ship in the same colums we get ship certification, that sounds good to me...

All auction delivered to 572 1355 on dantooine, Thanks
