try wiothout the jacket. its the large lapel that makes it look like your shoulders are larger, and i do admit the helm is dumb... but immagine there are cameras outside the helm, beaming pics being displayed inside. thus giving the pilot the ability to pilot a slight better. =)

I actually like the rebel helmet, it at least gives the feel of a emergency life support system. I think in the movies they didnt have face pieces because you couldnt see the actors. Vaders helmet was his character along with the Storm troopers and TIE pilots. I think if you had to eject in space our gonna need a full face helmet our your anus is gonna come sucking out your throat in a hurry.

It doesn't even really look like the rebel helmet. I've never seen them with a mouthpiece that covers the whole bottom of the face. That's a RL thing, not a SW thing.

Ever read any of the expanded universe? Pilots could eject from a starfighter, Rebel pilots had to first seal the flight suit (the helmet) while TIE pilots wore the space suit already cause the TIE carry no life support systems. I do agree though the helmet should be the open one with just the yellow/orange visor over the eyes.

Kinda white "compressed" stormtrooper helmet.. or.. oh wait.. looks like famous movie hero(!) Jason's helmet

In a perfect world we (Privateers) would have gotten a jacket and helmet emblazoned with the logo of whatever faction (smugglers/rsf/corsec) we fly for.

Yeah ok, I got a bit carried away, but still... Positive thoughts are very hard to come by on this here forum
I mean, usually folk doesn't even say "Wow! Jtl is great, but..." They say "WHAT THE F**K!!! WHAT IS THIS? THERES A GLITCH!!!"
