Well, at least equals when carbine to carbine. We'd have an edge due to that speed, but you'd have one too due to the fact that we get no defensive mods.
Sorry to hear carbineer stuff isn't working 8/ BHs can relate, as we have been beating our heads against the solid brick wall that is the investigation line for awhile now lol
Not sure there are enough Carbineers to throw up more than a 1 page thread on nerfing BHs. 
That being said, I know i personally want our specials to work right and to not kill myself through usage of our weapons.
Also, Im going BH carbine tier 3 and novice medic (with master carbineer planned as well) so I'm not interested in seeing a single nerf to BHs. In fact, the BH boards also state a lot on how fubar carbine is at the moment. THats good for us too, in a way. Rarely will anyone see someone talking about how great carbine is working right now. Save for that pistoleer who just switched over to carbine. And I don't think anyone really believes him no matter what he says.

I just wanted to thank Talth and all of the other BE's that have worked so hard to get the upcoming changes to the profession.
BE is the profession when the prof's were first announced that I was excited about. But after attaining Novice BE and trying to level in it I quit. A friend of mine recently told me of the upcoming changes and that has brought me back. And looking at them it looks like a lot of what disheartned me has been fixed. Well except for DNA sampling which pretty much will always blow monkey butt.
But anyway thank you.
Talth takes abuse well which makes him a very good correspondent.

Well, I finally got a Holocron. Have to master Marksman, but that's not what I'm here to say.
I would have never gotten this Holo, nor would I have had the oppertunity to meet so many people trying if it weren't for your generosity, and your kindness. I have to give credit where it's due, and you have earned my respect. This also extends to those who have helped others less fortunate achieve their goal and get their holo.You know who you are.

I just got finished reading a thread over on the Ahazi forum (not going to mention which one... if you've read it you'll know), and I just wanted to say thank you Sir Vimes. I know you probably won't read this, since it doesn't have an attention grabbing headline, and I'm not very well known on these boards, but for what it's worth thanks. I've been in this game since Beta, trying to help in game the whole way, and it is nice to see a correspondant who spends as much time on this as you do. I read the other profession forums pretty regularly, and I have to say - you're one of the good ones.
Thanks also to all those who take the time to not only stick with this profession, but who continue to write the guides, FAQ's, and help those in need in game.

Umm....whoa. You piqued my interest there, vyxen, so I went looking for the thread. Another "let's laugh at the forum fubar" thread took a serious turn into left field.
SirVimes, I'm not sure whether any allegations that got thrown around had any basis (other than "they could've done something with their super-secret correspondant forum information"), but I'm glad I haven't had any experiences with a correspondent I didn't like.
And describing you as a middleman to "the five chefs out there"....grrr, let's sic Nikki and Vishna on him! Well, ok, that might be a bit harsh.
