Ah, my alliances to Cheffies and Ahazians butts heads on this thread...

First off, I think that SirVimes is what's right for the coorespondant program. I really could'nt be happier with SOE's decision for chef. A lot of people have benifited from your hard work and diligence.

On the other hand, there are a lot of server side peoplewho have also added a lot of content to the game for me. The thread being discussed is one that was started and perpetuated by Riis, who is probably one of the main faucets of player content on the server. I wouldn't call his board ettiquite optimal at all times, but I don't want people who visit the Ahazi forum for that thread to label him a whiner or whatnot, and take it in context that he could probably be a great coorespondant (I have all confidence in that). He is simply frustrated because he has no instructions or path on how to become a coorespondant, and is upset at the naming of a GCW coorespondant.

I know this isn't the first time that Riis has talked about it, and SirVimes was in on the other thread as well (there may be more, but I only know of the two). Both the haves and the have-nots make valid points, but I don't see any comprimise in the near future. Good correspondants will continue to reinforce the current status quo, but empty positions filled without a "thorough" (vague, I know) application process will continue to chip away at it, especially if that new corespondant isn't very good.

In short, I hate to see these two guys in conflict, because both have added so much to my gaming experience. There was some other stuff going on in the thread, but I just wanted to highlight that aspect.

thank you to all the people involved in making Bounty Hunter what it is today, thank you devs, thank you programers and thank you testers

i went fron only needing 12k investigation XP for master to 0-0-4-0 in BH in a matter of minuits and dropping it by the end of this week

i cant make a living on the money we make (20k a mission that takes about 30min to do) and they got rid of NPC jedi missions (150k a mission, only real money in the profession)

if it were not for all the friends i've made i would have canceled my account long ago (many of us would have)

i know its just people complaining, but it seems that the only good things in teh game are the ones getting taken out

How many Bounty Hunters out there agree with me?

Did - Oh.

I started this game about two months ago, after reading all of the bugs and what not I still WANTED to be a BH. I can't really think of anything more fun. If you don't like it you can not play the profession. No one would care.

For the first time since I started last July, I finally now HAVE money from doing the Inv. 1-2. Almost made my first million working thru Inv. 3. Don't know what you're doing with all your cash, but maybe you should make a budget. Much more money in this then anything else I've tried.

No money.....sheesh.

I play a Bounty Hunter on Lowca, and I would just like to state the appreciation that those of us who don't wear composite 24/7 have for tailors. Since I've been playing, I've had special orders made by Momoko, Sil'ver, Mariana, and more.

Every tailor I've dealt with has been friendly and very talented, and you all have been responsible for a great deal of the fun I've had in this game.

Thank all of you, very much so.

Hi Smi... are you back in the game yet? Lol. I read that one post on the Lowca forum saying you were gone....

Thank you Peaceman, Naia and Smi! I think I'm going to just sit here and blush really really hard for awhile. (blush)

If they don't see this post, I'll go in-game and tell them about it. Momoko and Marianna areboth very nice people. I've never met Sil'ver but I'm sure she is too.

This is a thank you to the Ranger community in general -

Thanks for not being the Pistoleer forum, where spelling is optional, no thought processes are required, and the l33t rule the world.

(horror ofhorrors, I am aPistoleer, and even I think those guys are out there)

Same same for not being the Jedi forum, and those people are truly weird.

Dittos for not being the BH forum, no where will you find more wretched, drooling, wanna be, fat, pimply little 14 year old virgin boys with ... best quit, I feel Garva's hot breath on my neck

Thanks for having good ideas... even some of the stupid ones were not that bad - though some of the bad ones were truly stupid

Thanks for going along with our inside jokes, even the ones we haven't explained..free rice balls for the masses

Thank you for killing rasps and kreetles

Now, let's go out and harvest grid squares and make lots of monkey

I have got to stop going to other forums. My brain hurtz.
