I'm not whining. Believe me I want the other ships.
But since the artwork is already done there's no other alternative than to just accept that they're adding it.
But I dont want Jedi to have special privileges in space otherwise that's the death of the game right there.
They can have the ground. Me and many others consider space to be the Jedi free server of the game.

Jedi have constantly been spoon fed and i'm tired of them always getting the attention.
While there have been no Jedi news or anything i'm kind of glad they've quieted down. But I do not want them allowed in space with a ship that had been halted in production 20 years ago UNLESS, everyone is allowed equal access to the ship.
I mean who knows, maybe it's faster than all of the other ships. Jedi have Force Run 3 on the ground, what's to stop them from whining about having Space Speed 3? Exactly, nothing.
Better safe than sorry I say.

I agree with you on that Monsofolexius. But IGN does have exclusive screenshots of the Expansion.You can see kashyyyk,The Jedi Starfighter and much more. What i think happened is IGN spilled the beans early. Friday was SOEs Big info day this week on why CU was delayed etc. Ign clearly jumped the gun. From what TH said we werent supposed ot have the details til friday.
It seems a pretty Safe bet Beta has to start very very soon for a may release with as much has to be tweaked in the cu an dexspansion now

I don't think Jedi fly it, I think Clones do. There was a lot of these fighters in the Episode III preview and there aren't as much Jedi since a large amount of Jedi Masters were killed in Geneosis thanks to Obi Wan and Anakin and Jedi training it self has slowed down to a crawl, I suspect another reason is Palpatine cutting there funding to start supplying Tarken with the credits to start the Maw Installation.

Im still wondering why people are making such a big deal about it. Even if it is a Force Sensitive cert I doubt its going to be super powerful. It will just be a normal ship most likely. What I dont understand is why people make such a large deal about it. I mean besides we are getting a 20 person ship that may very well be the small Capital Ship or Cargo Shipwe have been wanting an all people can do is moan about the Jedi Starfighter. I mean damn its not like the Jedi plan to take over space. They dont really gain anything up there. Making it a Jedi cert would at least keep it an uncommon sight since Jedi rarely fly.

People are annoyed because they feel (rightly, I think) that the ground game should not effect the space game. Do Master Pilots get Master Pilot Pistol certs that no one else gets? Nope. So why should Jedi - or, for that matter, any ground prof - get any space certs? Because they're "Jedi?" If that's all you can give as an argument then you've seriously got to reconsider your perspective on the game.
Some people have been saying things ilke "why aren't you annoyed that Rebels can't fly Imperial craft?" etc etc etc. That is, hands down, the stupidest argument you can give. It's like saying, "why aren't you complaining that riflemen can't use carbines?" Obviously a REBEL pilot is going to fly REBEL ships. However, why should a Jedi be the only one to use a ship, even if it is a Jedi ship? There is no Jedi Pilot class, so why should there be a Jedi pilot cert? Within the context of the system that has been in place since launch, a Jedi-only starfighter makes no sense and, more then anything else, is an example of SOE pandering to the Jedi population.
When you take players who have been here since launch and who never even considered becoming a Jedi merely because they didn't want to watch as Jedi grinders get perk after perk after perk, you need to understand that they're going to feel, justifiably, annoyed. Begging for another special perk that completely throws the system up to this point out the door is not going to go over well.

The thing people are overlooking is:
It's over 20 years old.
The Empire would of made sure technology like that is outdated.
It's the predecessor to a TIE. How good do you think it'll be?
It's tiny and looks horrible.
Very few Jedi will tear themselves away from salivating over FRS to join you in space.
I have a profound hatred for all things Jedi in this game. But somehow this ship doesn't bother me much. If its open to just Jedi, I will be miffed off, considering I, a Colonel in the Empire, got treated to no perks when I started my TIE grind. A flawless service record should of got me something if killing millions of quenkers gets a Jedi that monstrosity.

first off, it shouldnt be in the game. but since it will, it SHOULD be jedi only.
since theyre more than likely removing jedi from the GCW(some day)and giving them their own factions (light/dark) they will need a ship after all. because if things go the way it seems they are, jedi wont be able to fly factional craft.
haha give this ship to everyone, and you might as well give everyone lightsabers and robes, and then pull the plug...

I hope its NOT jedi only, the good thing about JTL at the moment is everyone is equal and its not dependant on your group profession. We dont need jedi ruining any PvP etc in space aswell, like they have on the ground because that would just kill JTL. Becides jedi in the films always ended up getting shot down or crashing due to pilot error, and were rarly involved in any space battles
I'm expecting it to be more like a neutral version of the A-wing, I dont expect it to be any better since ships like the A-wing replaced it. Afterall we only see a bounty hunter flying a KSE and everyone can use that.

Just want to point out that at no point anywhere have I ever seen Jedi asking for this. None what so ever. We have no idea where the Dev's came up with the idea for a Jedi starfighter but it most certainly was not us as a community. The others, wellyou got us there, but wholeheartedly not us that asked for a Jedi starfighter.

I hope it is jedi-only, as it's a really stupid looking ship.
Looking at the screenshot closely seems to indicate that it has 2 weapon points (although the 2 bronze tubes down the middle might not be weapons) and (mysteriously) no droid interface. It looks about the same size as a Scyk (maybe even smaller), so I guess its manoeverability will be in a similar range, and I suppose it'll have more mass to allow for the extra weaponry.. maybe 40k total mass?
