The only thing i have to add is we need better textures for the blacksun ship line. I noticed on the main swg ship page the default texture on the Rihkxyrk has stipes that go all the way from fron to back. In game the stripes are only on the front. The rest of the textures 2-6 are all kinda cheezzy to me, id like to be able to color the whole ship like the hutt fighters.

The only otherthing I wouldlike to knowis how the heck do you pernonce Rihkxyrk? Privateer ship names are as bad as resorce names!!!

My number one beef with the Privateer arc right now is not the ships, it's the fact that when you complete a tier, you can no longer get duty missions from a previous trainer. You HAVE to go speak to the next trainer.

This has plowed me straight into a wall as a smuggler privateer on Tatooine as I am now being required to do the JABBA THEME PARK mssions in order to speak to my next privateer pilot trainer!! I must protest this most vehemently! The theme park missions are, I consider, relatively advanced ground missions. I am now stuck w/o any space mission options, ie, no way to earn money, but am forced to face off agaist 3 5k HAM tusken raiders to start with!

I don't like being forced into the ground game like this, but being forced into such advanced missions, requiring me to level several ground combat skills, is not what I bought JTL for. And don't tell me to group, because I WAS grouped, and 3 of us pilots got crushed by these raiders.

My main is a Pistoleer/CH, and these targets con yellow even to him. Inexcusable, forcingground game targets of this levelon JTL pilots like this!

my girlfriend soloed every theme park with a scout blaster at pistol4 and a CL 10 gurreck. just send the pet in and blow the snot out of the creatures that attack it. it's not that hard.

I do object to our ship selection, however. I'd gladly give up one of the higher level ships (like, oh... the YT-1300, whose inclusion I've never liked) to get something decent at Master. Personally, I favour the Skipray Blastboat. Yeah, it was designed for use by the Empire, but older versions were quickly making their way into private fleets by the Battle of Yavin, and it wasn't a terrbily uncommmon ship to see in private hands. Best of all, it's designed for a crew of three (pilot, gunner, engineer-type), but can be effectively (if not efficiently) flown by one.

Screw tha blastboat... give me the StarViper, baby!!!

Anyways... I'm not really complaining... I love my new Rihkxyrk (Style 2 is the best!)with its beefed up 187k mass. I'm only using 131k of it (granted, I'm only 4333... so I can't use Level 8 stuff yet).

I was praying for the StarViper to be included in the release though, cuz I think it's the most badass ship of the Star Wars universe.

StarViper, all the way

And yes, the new Rihk rocks (the extra 500K I paid for it didn't)
I have a 190.5K ship loaded to the brim (Style 3 is the best )

Yeah yeah folks... I know all about the love we all seem to have of the StarViper. I just happen to like the Skipray better. *shrug* But I wouldn't mind seeing the Skipray for all trees, and the StarViper for us privateers

Well, we all know ( I hope ) that the devs plan on more ships being released in time. This may mean 6 months to a year from now . . . but someday.
