Not exactly true. We can still wear the armor, just can't use saber or force power while wearing it. But don't be surprised if the Jedi under the armor has other tricks up their sleeves.

I'm not a ganker. I don't ever PvP. In fact, I'm a carbineer. I'm not a power-gamer / jedi wanna be. I was just out hunting. I don't have any interest in actually fighting or killing the jedi.


The only reason I asked is because I was under the assumption that a jedi was TEF'd for using his lightsaber.

Commandos are awesome in terms of ranged support, but when it comes to defending melee attacks/short range offense, they suck? I just want to know, since I plan on being a Commando, and probablymatch it up with a TKM.


Also, how hardly will Commandos be hit with the Combat Balance? I've seen FT's do 10k+ damage, so I just wanted to know.

Short range offense is where we shine, presuming the target(s) don't have good armor against heat.
The rich of us can pack a punch at long range with rocket lauchers, but are outdamaged by other professions with cheaper equipment.

The combat balance can be our salvation or final nail in the coffin, nobody knows.

melee attacks kill me, short range offense (pistols) i laugh at. I doubt our flamer will get nerfed (unless the jedi cry about it.. then we are in trouble)

I'll say right off the bat I'm not bitching, I just want to make sure I know what all my options are.


I can (a) Grind for a couple days every three weeks, or (b) Accept a BH death to get off the terminals and hope I can make up the xp before another one comes after me.


Am I missing anything?

Nope, you can basically play for 15-20 hours *Low key, being discreet* Before you get put on the terms. If you grind for that long lets say 20 hours of grinding. That could get you 1.5 million experience, then you'd have to lose 150k (If your like me, at 4004 saber, 0002 enhance), then back to getting another 1.5... I believe 15-20 hrs is how long it took before I got hunted down. The current system made me lose alot of experience though. After those 20 hrs I was hunted non stop..... so I stopped playing.

Jedi


  • Visibility is now cleared upon completion of a successful bounty hunter mission against the Jedi. This fixes an issue where bounty TEFs were not clearing. All bounty TEFs will now be cleared correctly upon death from a bounty hunter.

im still grounded for being a naughty jedi 8( will i be able to sneak out and kill some things safely ? or will i still have all that nasy vis ?

You will still be hunted I believe until a BH actually d/b's you. After you clone/rez, you should be ok......that has yet to be proven though.
