Like I said before, this is a nice "suggestion". I for one plan on charging between 3-5 cpu for the chassis, maybe 15-30 for the components. I might use 1cpu if I were crafting items with crappy resources, but since I have exceptional and decent resources, it won't happen.

"Selling product for less than the resources are worth is stupid"
Define worth. If I mine my own resources at less than .25cr a unit for my own use, I define the worth. Selling
"Selling product for less than your time worth is stupid."
Does not take that much time bud...
"Obviously you neither value your product nor your time, hence, you are....."
Easy to call names because you do not agree with their opinion...just call someone stupid and you can ignore any valid points they may have.
"You are merely trying to crash the market and make shipwright as bad as architect is."
Maybe he is, maybe he is not. Business is business. If you can't compete, find another skill.
"But, stupid is as stupid does. Hope other shipwrights buy out your stock, because you are selling far to low and you damn well know it."
Actually, it would be great if they did. He could sell them as fast as he makes them while the other Shipwrights that buy him out struggle to sell them...

Glad to see at least one shipwright (to be) won't be "gouging" the players right at the get go. (I mean really, charging 15x the amountwhat resources are worth just to "make a profit"? Thanks for increasing inflation guys!) I for one amglad to see an honestpost like this.
People shouldn't have to be gazillionaires just to be able to afford a decent ship.

Tremk, you're saying my costs are too high? LOL! Look at what I'm charging for resources... ONE CREDIT PER UNIT.
Anyway, you're more than welcome to make your own ship.
Oh.. I didn't see what you'll be charging...

well ships were about the most expensive thing around in the star wars universe. so you should be very rich in order to buy a ship. and making no profit at all is not being honest, its ruining the market. normal priced items have a minimum of 50% profit so these prices are way to low. yes this means that people will actually have to SAVE their money if they want a quality ship.... GASP..... but yah you can get a ship with 1 cpu resources for a lot cheaper, but i'll be laughing when you get blown out of the sky in 1 shot. anyway, these prices are ridiculously low and for a quality ship its gunna cost a lot more.

Cost of the resources used will be about 3-4 CPU for the chasis. I forsee 4-6 CPU cost for finished product. This is fair honestly if your using good resources. Get a guildie to manufactor the stuff for you and you'll be able to get it for cheaper. And theres no way your harvesting at .25 cpu a resource. Maybe .25 CPU for power by itself but the maintence rate on harvestors is much higher.
Addon: To get to master its going to cost something along the lines of 3 million + resources... If you want high quality stuff the first few days, expect to pay through the nose.

Weaponsmaster - my ships will be nothing BUT quality. Since you're not on my server, you don't know that I have been harvesting resources since *April*. Steel, iron, ore, fiberplast, petrochem, copper, etc...
Nothing I have is less than 4 or 5 stars (1 star = 1 stat over 900), and I have millions.
I'm sorry, but I will not take part in price gouging.. I have harvested these supreme resources myself and will decide what I charge for them. Whatever profit I make is in my "labor" cost that I have included in that above list.
If I had bought my resources from someone else, then I would definitely be charging more for the resources I use, but since I got them on my own...

Prices are way too low. Sounds like you're trying to corner the market. Good thing I'm not on your server!

What are the "styles"? Is there a different kind of each of those?
