Russia USED to do that, now, Russia makes several fighters that are in fact SUPERIOR to the F-22, did you also know that Russia has the most advanced ejection seat technology IN THE WORLD?
bottom line Russia sucks, all socialist Countrys do

You're trying to tell me that not 1 F-15 has ever been shot down? I find that incredibly hard to believe given how long they've been in operation. Of course, show me some statistics on this, and I might be inclined to believe you.

Listed as MIA on Jan. 18. Changed to KIA on March 22. Shot down in an F-15 over Iraq.
That doesn't look like never shot down to me.
Besides which, simply because it's never been shot down doesn't mean it's the safest. If an experienced combat pilot took a Spitfire (WW2 UK Fighter) into combat against an entire squadron of F-15s crewed by fresh, untrained pilots, the F-15s would all crash & burn. Does this make the Spitfire the better plane? Of course it doesn't. What it says is that pilot skill counts for a lot in a combat situation. Probably more than the amount of technology the pilot is riding.

Ok now we can officially declare all he says to be idiotic. A spitfire would be such an easy target for a f-15 it's not even funny. The spitfire has no countermeasures and the f-15 can take it out from MILES away with an AMRAAM while the spit has to get within about 500m to even be able to shoot the f-15s which are oh, lets say 5x faster than a spit.

as someone who workes on the american fighters I have to say you are so wrong it is almost not worth mentioning. Russia has basicly been bankrupt for years and has nothing that compars to the F-22 or the JSF. thay did have the best ejection seat because 1 thay needed it and 2 we now have taken the design and improved on it. Sorry but if you had sayed that the French or the British I could have tried to get on board but it does not matter. there are only 2 countries that have a potential of matching our Air Force and 1 is a friend. The verdict is still out on the other.

Rebel ships are superior to Imperial ships in just about every category.
According to the jtl guide, Rebels make their ships out of looted, stolen and adapted parts. Yet a ragtag group whose desperately trying to survive have better equipment than the mighty Empire?
I'm not saying the Empire should have better ships which if you look at it they should but at least they should beon parand not way below.
dont hate

That's assuming the F-15 pilot knows how to activate the targeting system. I did state untrained pilots in the F-15. I thought that would be enough to clarify that that pilot wouldn't actually know what they were doing in the cockpit. Obviously I needed to make myself clearer.
FWIW, I'm a pilot myself, so I do know something about what I'm talking about here.

Wow, way to completely miss the point.
Why? I'm making an educated guess here, but I'd say they are too costly. Which lends itself to the current theory being stipulated in this thread. The Empire believes only in disposable heroes. Every cloned trooper is assigned a number. On the ground or in the air, a number they shall remain.
