Here is the reason why you won't have to remaster.
Everyone who has had their silent holo on 4th or less have already mastered the selected holo pros. They would only get a silent holo on the 5th no matter what. But since that isn't the case. You won't have to remaster.

Those who actually use their hands claim that TKA is great for the dizzy/KD and the huge damage output. With Master Brawler, Fencer and Swordsman can dizzy/KD too (takes 2 moves but that's no sweat), so that's no big selling point. The biggest falsehood, though, is the claim of amazing damage output. TK gets 1 damage type, with no more than AP Light, and no bleeds. Against someone in a good suit of armor, you can hack all day and not make a dent.
The other melee professions offer much better alternatives. Fencer has the stun baton, Swordsman has massive mind bleeds, and Pikeman...uh....has Nightsister DOT Lances (poor pikemen).
The only real strong points of TK are meditation and defensive mods, which are really only good for dabbling. You have to have another combat prof to make TKA good. Go for Fencer or Swordsman.
i loved the 2H but it is just not good on the defence i have a friend that was standing against things that drop me in like 2 to 3 hits and he was just not getting hit he is a Fencer
i am going to try the way he is going he is a master pistoler and master fencer i am not going master pistoler but i am going to grab the defence column and just not get hit anymore hehe![]()
A good fencer can DOMINATE PvP. I saw a Teras Kasi, he was 1,2,0,1 I think. I am just Novice Fencer, 0,0,0,0, and Ibeat him in a duel, even if it was very close, no heals or buffs either.
Fencers are fast, and superfun. The things that suck are our best weapon (stun baton) has weak damage and looks like a piece of crap, our second best weapon (obtained at 1hand IV) is the Rantok, and that stinks too and you need to go through Jabba's themepark (I have -5000 Jabba and -5000 thug :/).And the Gaderiffi Baton, even if it is good if you're a master Fencer, has speedlike 6.5, which is TERRIBLE, considering fences havea need for speed.
If you choose a fencer, you'll probably stick with a good curved sword or Rykk Blade through most of the whole path.
I took fencer, and I couldn't be happier! We aren't a powerhouse, but we have a friendly community that hardly ever whines or complains and we're fun to play!
(Sorry for the double post >,<!)
And by the way, we don't need armor either, so we get to look unique, not another Full-dressed chitin that fades into the crowd! If you're going fencer, get something stylish like Decorative vest.
I'm a master brawler. Trust me they all rock
Unarmed = tough to level in but once you get certified for Vibro Knucklers they are awesome. Of course VK's are not in the brawler tree so that doesn't help you much there.
Fencer. Good speed and good power (lack of armor piercing weapons hurts but good speed makes up for it)
Swordsman = medium speed and good power very early. You get access to a medium AP weapon with your first skill (two hand 1) and you get access to probably the most powerful brawler weapon at two handed II. The curved sword is medium AP decent damage and speed of under 3. You can't beat that.
Pikeman =great damage but horrible accuracy. If the devs address the horrible accuracy (6-7 misses in a row is not uncommon) then this profession will take off big time.
Hey Braglor could you tell me how you got 2 banks of hotkey slots? I tried everything I could think of to do it, and can't figure it out
With COB the tables have turned in the following.
1. TKA's COB is broken. Defensive acuity flat out doesn't work. I can't comment on it because it's broken. The TKA's who say it "works" has another profession to back it up (pistoleer for instance has high dodge and pistoleer dodge makes TKA COB work for instance)
2. Fencer's dodge + COB makes them nearly unhittable. For every one person complaining about a TKA I see TKA's complaining about fencers. I've seen Bounty Hunters on these forums complain about fencers. Fencers now have grace and speed because their dodge is so high. I've read of one fencer who took down 5 TKA's because they simply couldn't hit him. Of course this is rare but is has happened.
3. Swordsman i'm not too sure about however for PvP I hear they are very effective. Their weapons are highly damaging and their COB mod is counter attack. The powerhammer does blast damage and if you are rebel that is a great thing. It makes you a melee commando since imp turrents and AT-ST's have blast vunerabilities and the power hammer is highly damaging. I once dueled a master swordsman for fun because I wanted to see his moves and he incapped me on accident.
4. Pikeman are like all have said. It's very frustruating to level and play and have fun because you miss so much. If a pikeman would actually hit more times than they miss it would be a blast to play. Awesome animations, great damage very cool looking weapons but they flat out MISS so much. Oh and pikeman have the lowest defenses and toughness but their with speciality (block) they still take damage. COB improves block but since you still take damage with block it's counter productive. Out of all the brawler professions Pikeman needs serious attention by the devs. They have so much potential as damage dealers but they just miss so much.
Shagg to get two banks of hot keys hit the alt key or do something to turn your cursor from that green radial circle to a true mouse pointer.
Move the mouse pointer to your hot key's. If you notice as you move around your cursor will change. if you get near the edge it will become a crosshair and you can move the box around. If you will positition near the bottom it will turn into a drag bar. Simply drag the hotkey down and it will expand into 2 rows of hot key's.
you can actually access them from your command prompt with
/ui action toolbarSlot00 (for the first one) and /ui action toolbarSlot23 (for the last one). That way you can put hotkey items into macros ![]()
