I have to agree. Fencer needs new weapons more than any other class. It's just pathetic. Make the rantok sword craftable or add some new swords that have armor piercing. Why is out only armor piercing weapon a friggin butter knife?

Noticed no one recommends PIKEMAN? It's cause they sux! Dont waste your time on that profession, it doesnt stack up to the others. That should bring you down to just three choiced, TKA, Fencer and Swordman. But Pikeman, dont waste your time.

TKA is cool because they can meditate for a few seconds and get what takes everyone else a minute or two to regenerate. I can only imagine this will get better with new HAM system updates they may or may not go in.

I am almost novice pikeman, and let me tell you it's not easy. It is taking a long time to get polearm's 4 because i miss alot, but if they ever fix this proffession i'm sure it will dominate. It really depends on what you plan to do with the skill though. If you are going PvE than piker is the way to go, but for PvP you might want to check out fencer or tka.

Meditation does not speed up regen at any level.

that would pretty much sum up my suggestions too

fencer/pistol - health damage (what I would recommend)
swordsman/rifle - mind (rifleman need either swordsman or CH to survive hunting)
pikeman/carbine - action
TKA/anything

never been so sure on one thing in my whole life (which in that fact is somewhat sad)
