ARJUN, really cant believe this. We HAD THIS RENERF CRAMMED DOWN OUR THROATS. They ignored our issues. We did not want permaovert. WE DID NOT WANT 24/7 PvP. But we got it . Pub 9 nerfed us to hell.


Let me give you just a few facts. We didnt fight the the nerfs in pub 9 as a community. You seemed to give up or agree and go along. Now we get the same from you on frun3, A POWER THAT HAS BEEN IN THE GAME FOR 10 MONTHS. Well that is simply unacceptable. We have lost armour, we have lost skills. WE are no longer tanks and WE HAVE NO STAMINA IN A FIGHT. NONE. IF we cant hit and run, escape and evade WE ARE DOOMED. Play FRS on live. Arjun. PLAY FRS ON LIVE. Have the @#$%-ing devs play FRS on live. A swordsman does TWICE the damage to a jedi that another Master LS jedi with a very good 4th gen saber does. TWICE THE DAMAGE.


Normal players and BH's have been tef ganking jedi since we appeared in the game. Its just too damn bad they cant take A VERY VERY VERY little bit of their same medicine. They can choose to go overt or not. They can prepare with buffs and food and a small group. Its not that solo jedi are so uber and al powerful...itsthe jedi and their guilds of gank squads - harcore PvPers - that are gank raping people on YOUR server ECLIPSE.



But this is all about the damage the DEVS HAVE WROUGHT. THEY thought they knew best and created this nightmare. Now you side with them and say ok - the only solution is more skill nerfs - AFTER WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT SKILL NERFS!!! NO, ARJUN!



Simple solutions - pull us out of GCW. Remove permaovert. Remove FRS points from kills. Light Knights have voting, periodically, While dark jedi have PERIODIC DUEL tournaments....ladders with seeds. That way both sides are time gated and rewarded for play time and senoirity.

With only 3 Dark Jedi Knights on eclipse it is going to be very hard to level at all if you take away exp for normal overts. We will be restricted to if they log on and with the exp decay it will take forever. As it stands right now if you get 1000 frs exp a day it will take you about 3 years to get Council Leader. Exp for all overt kills needs to be increased. And if they nerf enhancer will they let us reroll without losing our FRS exp or rank. I took master enhancer because of FR3 so if they nerf it I'll be stuck with another useless box.

Nice changes being implemented thus far, however Arjun can I appeal to you since changes are on the way, do let us at least have a /restartconversion. It's the least the devs can do to assist us in adapting to the changes.

Also, just to elaborate a bit on what I said before:

I really don't see choke as a viable counter to run3. Choke has a limited range and as soon as the runner gets out of that range, he's gone.

Also, there might not be very many, if any, who have both run3 and choke, so there won't be anyone chasing down the runner in order to choke him.

I almost think a long range posture down might be a better counter to run3 than choke.

dark jedi should be like, go assassinate this corellian politician and his army.

thats way better content than having to kill other players over and over. and over.

yea maybe. there needs to be more of an incentive to be overt rather than a penalty. maybe something like 5% to fp gain and 2% to xp gain. i dunno, maybe that sucks too.

nah. we dont even have armor (and dont say we have force armor) so most have to run.

still, pretty much takes another fr3 jedi to kill another fr3 jedi.

the best force choke is being locked in a saber animation for 5 seconds.

but really, i thought force choke would hold the person in place for a duration. and maybe stop all ham/force regeneration while choked.

Seems to me all the jedi that didnt pick master enhancer wants force run 3 nerfed. Wonder why?


Force run 3 dosnt help for duels inside the enclave! Or does it?


Force run 3 is a gcw skill. Thats why I picked it. Ive seen one other jedi on my server with master enhancer! Most have alot of the defense tree, and in a duel guess what I cant really beat them. Same as force run 3 stops them from beating me..


There is ways to beat a force runner. First for him to kill he needs to come in close, hes not going to do much with just saber throw. When hes in close, hes weak. Remember hes prob got master saber, master enhance and 4004 healing.This template can get beat down pretty fast with enough people hitting, poison,disease, kd, dizzy,posture change,intimidate, warcry etc. Then force run 3 has to worry about his pool. No force pool, hes dead and cant get away. This template like I said before sucks in duels!


If they do make a drastic change to force run, I just hope they give us the chance to reroll.

Arjun, again what about Neutral Bounty Hunters? with your suggestions FRS Jedi's will have nothing to fear from us as we can't go overt. Lets recap this, Neutral Bounty Hunter gets a Jedi mission, Bounty Hunter kills Jedi(somehow anyway), the Jedi is in the FRS, the Jedi doesn't lose Jedi XP, Jedi doesn't lose FRS Ranking because the Neutral Bounty Hunter can't go Overt. Do you see where I'm coming from?

I'd prefer to see FR3 have some counter measure against it from say force powers, i.e. the choke suggestion, than having FR3 itself changed. That would go some way to addressing the problems ofjedi v jedi fights and give some more meaning to having the force powers tree.


Given that we have no armour now, nor resists on the robes, jedi still need the ability to escape gank squads. Changing FR3 itself would only further hurt jedi.


Nobody complained about jedi in the GCW when any week old newb could kill them, but now that jedi can fight back and win people are upset?


If they don't want jedi to kill overts/coverts whatever, take them out of the CGW and give us light, dark and neutral jedi factions.

I'm just curious how all of a sudden did force run become this giant overpowered skill. Little hint for you old school force run2 = current force run3. Its the same speed, same terrain negotiation as it ever was. Just now you need to make a choice to buy it, its not a freebie that everyone will get just for leveling to guardian.


We have always had the option to escape. Guess some of you never experienced it.


If Overts don't like being jumped, well they shouldn't be Overt then should they?

You know Ajurn I just people would live our Jedi Profession Alone Its only been 2 weeks and everyone wants to change stuff. Jedi have had this forcerun for a long time. Now just becuase people want to kill for their xp they want to nerf it. To be very honest I don't want forcerun3 nerf. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS. It was the only thing I enjoy on Tc2 as a Jedi. So I will go with number6 ForceChoke to cancel the abitlity to force run for maybe 20secound if I had to chose.


Also Ajurn alot of people who are not Jedi simply don't understand what we go through. Everyone is just looking for there kill and what makes them proud that they killed a Jedi. People don't even give it a change to settle in before they say it needs to be nerfed. They have one or 2 bad experience with something and they hate before they don't want to take the time to deal with it. There are alot of combat issues in this game and we have found ways of how to deal with it. This is something people have to consider everyone doesn't want to PvP PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I want to enjory my Jedi but I don't want to give up what I like about my Jedi profession just becuause want to kill me to my up to the top. Everyone just wants to climb over everyone and just becuase they are not going to have that skills tree they figure well hell lets ruin the other trees so we can get some freaky xp. There should be some controled testing going on and certain people shouldn't be involved. They let what there goals are affect the entire game of others. This is suppose to be a game not a job. Stop trying to put everyone down to make it to the top and have some fun. Ok enough complaing.


I agree with number 6 if I have to chose this way the power tree would be more desirable but it has to be a master skill.

I like the idea of Choke having an effect on FR3, what about a scaled system -


Weaken 1 = Reduces FR3 to 66%, reduces FR2 to 33%,and cancels out bonuses of FR1


Weaken 2 = Reduces FR3 to 33%, cancels out FR2, cancels out FR1


Force Choke = Cancels out bonuses of FR3, FR2, FR3



Maintain the current timers on the weaken and choke skills so that they must be re applied if the effect is to remain. Correlate the force cost for the two trees. ie weaken 1 has the same fc as force run 1, etc.

All the negative feedback we gave during TC2? it was ignored if the devs had one ounce of common sense they would listen to there player base instead of ramming there we know best BS design. This dev team lets us down time and time again and all we get is nerfed harder and harder


The simple solution is just take us out of the GCW as a direct implication, give us Light & Dark factions, have our PVP records (scores) vs each other give GCW bonuses to normal players so they inturn will want us around, as it stands today we are hated. As for your ideas

Remove this totaly make us our own faction

5. Change Force Run 3 to cost less force to activate, but be a Force over time based skill....i.e. it uses5-10 force per second...which is not crippling but also would prevent a Jedi with 0 force pool from running indefinately. Note, this is only a change to Force Run3

You want to change this then give us some resists on our robes, they want us to go toe to toe with stuff and not run make it so we can


6. Make Force Choke cancel Force Run

Will not work, they will never catch them to apply it

There are no changes on the way, nothing about my post is being submitted without the Jedi communities stamp of approval (which obviously hasn't happened yet ).
