Let me explain a couple things to put this post in perspective....
1. If we don't take some concession on Forcerun3 and police ourselves, its going to get nerfed. This is just a fact. So either we take a deep breath and find some balance with this skill or you can put your blind trust in the devs decision as the complaints keep piling up. Think about it. Think hard and come up with some good suggestions or reason it should not be changed that take into account you and your opponent, don't just scream NO NERF.
2. FRS Jedi killing overts is also a big problem and very high on the complain list against Jedi. So again, either we work with the rest of the community here and help balance this or we can just sit back and cross our fingers..... Creating Jedi sub-factions is something being throw around in the correspondent forum which would allow Light and Dark Jedi to always fight each other and is still being explored.
ARJUN, really cant believe this. We HAD THIS RENERF CRAMMED DOWN OUR THROATS. They ignored our issues. We did not want permaovert. WE DID NOT WANT 24/7 PvP. But we got it . Pub 9 nerfed us to hell.
Let me give you just a few facts. We didnt fight the the nerfs in pub 9 as a community. You seemed to give up or agree and go along. Now we get the same from you on frun3, A POWER THAT HAS BEEN IN THE GAME FOR 10 MONTHS. Well that is simply unacceptable. We have lost armour, we have lost skills. WE are no longer tanks and WE HAVE NO STAMINA IN A FIGHT. NONE. IF we cant hit and run, escape and evade WE ARE DOOMED. Play FRS on live. Arjun. PLAY FRS ON LIVE. Have the @#$%-ing devs play FRS on live. A swordsman does TWICE the damage to a jedi that another Master LS jedi with a very good 4th gen saber does. TWICE THE DAMAGE.
Normal players and BH's have been tef ganking jedi since we appeared in the game. Its just too damn bad they cant take A VERY VERY VERY little bit of their same medicine. They can choose to go overt or not. They can prepare with buffs and food and a small group. Its not that solo jedi are so uber and al powerful...itsthe jedi and their guilds of gank squads - harcore PvPers - that are gank raping people on YOUR server ECLIPSE.
But this is all about the damage the DEVS HAVE WROUGHT. THEY thought they knew best and created this nightmare. Now you side with them and say ok - the only solution is more skill nerfs - AFTER WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT SKILL NERFS!!! NO, ARJUN!
Simple solutions - pull us out of GCW. Remove permaovert. Remove FRS points from kills. Light Knights have voting, periodically, While dark jedi have PERIODIC DUEL tournaments....ladders with seeds. That way both sides are time gated and rewarded for play time and senoirity.
I really don't see choke as a viable counter to run3. Choke has a limited range and as soon as the runner gets out of that range, he's gone.
Also, there might not be very many, if any, who have both run3 and choke, so there won't be anyone chasing down the runner in order to choke him.
I almost think a long range posture down might be a better counter to run3 than choke.

nah. we dont even have armor (and dont say we have force armor) so most have to run.

5. Change Force Run 3 to cost less force to activate, but be a Force over time based skill....i.e. it uses5-10 force per second...which is not crippling but also would prevent a Jedi with 0 force pool from running indefinately. Note, this is only a change to Force Run3
You want to change this then give us some resists on our robes, they want us to go toe to toe with stuff and not run make it so we can
6. Make Force Choke cancel Force Run
Will not work, they will never catch them to apply it

There are no changes on the way, nothing about my post is being submitted without the Jedi communities stamp of approval (which obviously hasn't happened yet
