Me too but that's quite normal since there weren't made any changes to live yet regarding rubberbanding (they are on TC but that doesn't seem to fix our issue).

I am also having this issue STILL!
I /bugg'd it durring beta twice and I put it in the forums.
My internet connection is Bell Sympatico ADSL and I regularly pull in downloads at over 400MB/s. My JTL character (Aerium) used to get 60-80 ping on the ground, but now I get over 200 on the ground and over 450 in space. Thavus, my non-JTL character gets 175-600 ping on the ground, regardless of planet or time of day.

It doesn't seem to be affected by ping or internet connection in this case, though. Remind you, I'm having two PCs here both exactly (!) the same way connected to the internet and only one of them is having the issue.
Anyways, I discovered something new:
Today I was lucky enough to get on board of a multi passenger ship someone else owns. I went into the turret and we flew around for a good while and blasted a lot of ships on some high end busy missions.
I didn't lag even once, exactly the way it should be like. But when flying in my own solo ship (cant test my own multi passenger ships yet) I always have the lag issue.
Isn't that weird? I really expected to lag on someone else's ship since, after all, it's seems my PC is causing the lag issue, so why did I not lag in the turret when I flew in someone else's ship around I wonder...? That is really really weird!
Go try it out yourself.
Can anyone confirm this experience?
This experience along with the fact that not everyone is affected by this reminds me somehow of that odd bug where some people suddenly miss the disconnect button on the toolbar (little star icon) while others still have it...Message Edited by Landorin on 11-12-2004 01:34 AM
That is weird, and come to think about it, when I flew as gunner on a friends y-wing no drunken bees, only the normal problem to stay on target as the pilot twists and turns.
Btw, he has never had the problem.

Yeah it was hard sometimes to aim if the pilot moved the ship but I did not have the lag issue and I can't get any idea why it behaves totally normal on someone else's ship.
You know, even if a dev told us there wouldn't be a fix within the next few days or so I would be really REALLY relieved if they just told us the cause of this (in case they know it)!

Heh, tell me about it, I would be happy with a short post in this thread saying they are on it.

By the way, did you people /bug this in game too? I will do that now, totally forgot it. The more and detailed bug reports they get the faster they might fix it. I also wrote an email to the swg support now.

Last night I was doing my final Rebel Tier 3 mission and the warp bug was worse than ever (keep in mind my ping was 78 and my packet loss was 0). There is one part where waves of ties come at you based on a timer. At one point I had 9 ties on me because of the warping bug I couldn't get a bead on any one fighter.
This bug, along with the "hit but doing no damage" bug (i.e., you see and hear the enemy ship being hit, but it takes no damage at all) really take away from my enoyment of the JTL expansion. Fix those 2 things and the space game is close to perfection.

In regard to the no damage bug, I posted a thread on USING the drunken bee bug to correct this. It always seems to go away for a few seconds after a ship-warp that involves your vessal, so I suggested using constantly going in and out of windowed mode (with plenty of processes running in the background if necessary) until you can generate enough video lag to get your client out of sync with the server. Your ship pulls the drunken bee, and for a few seconds, this second bug goes away, which seems to reinforce my idea that the two bugs are closely related.

Why, sure you can test out testcenter, I really recommend it since they add new fixes all the time so maybe the issue is fixed by now and we don't know it (last time I checked, see posting on previous page or so, the issue was still alive).
If anyone checks out TC, keep us posted on this issue.

This enemy warping thing is driving me mad, especially when my ship is a bit slower than the target. Having the enemy sometimes 'warp' 180 degrees is a mission killer simply because when he warps, his sheilds recharge some, and I wind up running out of time.
Its a real breaker when you have missile lock and when you press the trigger the enemy isnt even close to you any more.

Tonight, at least, this issues went away for me. I did install new Nvidia drivers and the new direct x 9.0c. I will have to see if it is still the case tomorrow.

i too have this problem,
although, it's not so much warping as it is the enemy ship will drastically change direction. and will usually do it when my targetting recticle comes close to meating the leading recticle, (which is almost never where it should be) and then as soon as i'm about to fire, the target craft, changes direction, faster then it should be able too. and thus is impossible to get a beed on, and take down. altho, if i was to get a beed on it, or hit it during this time of effect.... the ship doesn't take damage.
at least none that i can tell, even after emptying my capacitor into it.
no change. sigh. this is most fusterating, when in a furball (xwingvstiefigther reference) and the enemies seem to not fire on you, cept to hit your back shields.
and unshakable missles they throw at you.
run out of countermeasures in these,
and yeah i have noticed that when flying in a multipassenger ship, with a passenger, this problem hides in the shadows.
maybe it's our problem, becuase we aren't always in groups? lol. i kidd, i kidd. but i did have a csr tell me that i should upgrade my ship when i told them that i wasn't able to damage them and keep a beed on them... thought you guys could use that humourous thought.
hope that helps.
