about my other question, do armorsmiths have crafting aprons
i see ppl trying to sell them all the time but when i look at them it just says clothing expirimentation
logically it doesnt make sense but they keep advertising them as armorsmith aprons
do this really work for armorsmith or is it just some marketing scam

for non-ch pets i generally go 1k per level. this is with them having around 5k H, so 10k. then i add on costs if it has good specials like poison or disease and if it has ranged. if i luck out and up with really good A and decent M, i might go 1.5k per level. if it has say two specials and ranged it gets up around 20k, but usually they end up between 10-15k. it depends on the demand on your server i guess. i wish i could charge more, but people just won't pay as much as i want them to on my server.
ch-pets are also 1k per level, but if they have awesome stats for their levels i go to 1.5-2k per level.then, again, add on costs for light armor, specials, ranged attack, and resists. it's up to you how much extra you want to charge for those things. alternatively if it's stats aren't so great or average for it's level then it's just 1k/level, even if it has good resists or specials.
but i would look around at other vendors and see what they are pricing them at so you can better idea of what works on your server.

Try this go to swg.warcry.com and look for the BE calculator, I usually deduct about 40k from the price since it was designed before CH evaporated.

Mine go:
CL10 or below 'mount' (low ham) 10K
CL10 'tank' (4k+ ham) 20K
CL12 to CL50 1K per level +10K for light armour
CL50+ price based on how much hard to get DNA I used and how long it took me!
Above are 'vendor' prices. If someone places an order with me they pay the price we agree on. The more specific they try to be about what they want, the more it costs them. If they renege on an order, they get a shop ban *shrugs*

Our best seller has to be Non CH mounts, around 2k for all the HAM, made with the Voritor dashers and Hurtton pups. we sell these for 40k but are thinking of taking the price up because they sell so well. Best advice I can give is to make plenty of Banthas, they sell so much better than any other mounts.

Thank you all for your advice. Again the BE community comes through for one of its own.

Depends on quality.
For custom orders on CH pets I usually go with 3kpl (k per level). On the vendor for CH pets only 2kpl.
For non CH 1kpl or a custom non CH is 1.5kpl.
If they have very specific orders I will sometimes work out a special price. You need to think about the pet level, what kind of DNA you'll need, buff costs (nothing like getting out there and getting slayed) and other things.
Also if you need resources you can make note of a cpu price, which of course would have to be carried out in person.

A great thing about BE Calc is you can adjust it if you think it is to high me when I was still selling pets I bumped UP the default price. I would use the link from our FAFAQ though it goes to the latest version where warcry is the older version last I checked.

With the recent Merchant Vendor nerf, I sell all my creatures on the bazaar for 6k...so therefore, I sell none that are ch required.

Ok I have to ask a question of those that use CL in pricing pets. Are you telling me if I make a cl35 with just about the same stats as a CL 70 you're going to charge more for the cl70? The whole idea of making BE pets is to pack more creture into a smaller CL so why base your price schemes of of CL?
