One more question haveing to do witht he Y wing and its 2 seat ability.

Lets say I'm short of a friend to group with and I invite a player I don't know to be my gunner. What happens if once in space this person turns out to be a moron? Doing things like firing for no reason draining power? Or otherwise being a pain in the neck to me and others around me. What are my options as pilot? Will disbanding group eject him from my ship and return him back to the ground?


My experiance has been great with the SWG community, but we have all seen the griefers and theres bound to be a few in space also. SO how do you handel and unruley backseater?


I suppose dropping them in the middle of Dathomir is out of the question ,but what can a pilot do in that situation?

In a POB ship, you target the unruly individual and /dismiss them. This dumps them back to the ground where you launched.

I haven't tried it, but I presume /dismiss [gunner's name] would work, and allow you to dump your gunner.

I heard a rumor that being the top rank of your faction gets you a free ship is this true?

also does shipwright cost skill points?

and does the vehicle control skill tree under force powers affect your ship driving at all?

How's the lag in JTL? Is it like every other game or are there graphics renderingprogramsthat alow low end computers to fight proficently?

The lag is just depending on your own connection and such, but since I do realize that you mean FPS I'll answer correctly:


To me it seems that JTL is less graphics-intensive than the ground game, my FPS is constantly higher in space than on ground. Only thing that really messes with my FPS is the nebulae, but there's a slider for how dense you'll want to see those. Then again, I'm not really in a low end computer, rather in a mid range one...

Not to my knowledge, I would guess that it's not true. Don't know if anyone bothered much with faction rank in beta, since FP and rank has no effect.

No the only maintenance you have on ANY ship is to repair or replace damaged components. The 1 slot usage is so that you can have more than one MP ship without killing the database.
