Which is why the AT-ST is now PvP and Imperial Mission ONLY!
And why not having Master CH is a bad thing for me LOL!
I just used this on endor last night, it worked lol. What I did was go find a lair that was not a mission right outside of Endor. I found some tasty mereks. What was spawning, Merek Harvestors and some lower version mereks. The only one with armor was the Harvestor but it was vul. to energy, lol my laser carbine was licking it chops. Needless to say I would send in my bio-pet with 60% kinetic resists in and have about 10 of them attacking, lol. It was hiliarious, I just stood back and sniped them one at a time with cripple shot. I did this for 10 mins and got about 70k xp. What is so great about this is the lair has infinite spawns. So when I cleared the spawns all I had to do was tap the lair and anywhere from 10-15 would spawn.
Now dont get me wrong, I did have to stim after the 3 time doing it. I only have one nice pet after the recent pet nerf, so interchanging would have let me master carbine in about 2 hrs last night, lol.
hehe I do this same method, but with my gurrcat, I do however heal him with savage quenkers and so on where it ends up me + pet vs like 20 lol alot of times I get chasedd by like 10 of them though lol.... oh well the xp is amazing
Oh, it's possible with pistol and rifle, the difference being: when i was pistoleer, I'd survive the ones that would aggro me instead of pet most of the time (as long as it was just a couple); when i was carbine, i'd survive part of the time...when i was rifle, even oneswitch target meant a free trip to the clone chamber.
The flip side was, I had to be real choosy about the armor on my targets as pistol, somewhat choosy as carbine, but as rifle, not hardly at all.
Generally it's aLOT tougher to pull off if you get greedy and try multiple lairs at once. Often by the time you've finally got that fifth critter angry at your pet, the first one attacked hasn't been re-hit in enough time that it disengaged. I usually just send the pet after a lair, let it hit once so that the lair's damaged, then retarget it against one of the critters around said lair, then count the spawns before engaging.
Well I am 0-0-1-3 pistoleer and 0-4-0-0 Smuggler. I have 175k pistol xp so I could get smuggler 0-4-1-0. But would stopping shot, fan shot + defense mods or last ditch, low blow and panic shot allow me to get the rest of pistoleer and smuggler quicker? I know last ditch is more powerful than stopping shot and combined with low blow and panic shot can be awesome but then fanshot is AoE. I can't really decide but judging by the praise of fanshot I am thinking of going that route.
Thanks in advance.

If intending to go for group killing and AOE exp, which is absurdly fast, go up to fan shot, and do the rest of smuggler in a really short time, spamming the AOE attack.
If you intend to master both Smuggler and Pistoleer I would suggest that you go up the Dirty fighting tree next. Franky the specials in the DF tree are probably the best combined specials in a single tree that can be found in the game. After you finish that tree head for the Marksmanship tree followed by Grips, Techniques, and finally the Underworld tree. Pick up the remainder of the Stances tree when it comes available. This depends on which profession you want to master first. You can swap around the Techniques and Undeworld if you wish to finish smuggler first. You can also swap Marksmanship for Grips to get dodge if you feel you would rather have the defenses.
