Thunderghost, you see, that is exactly the kind of posting that will make the devs less motivated to reply or even look into this issue.
I know this issue makes playing hard or even impossible, I'm affected myself, but try to keep calm. If you aren't, chill first and then post, we really need this a constructive and friendly discussion or we won't get anywhere.
Please people, stay calm, respectful and friendly when posting. Also, don't expect a dev answer right away, give them some time, they have a lot to do at work and browsing the boards is just one of many things they do during the day (and there is a LOT to read on these boards). When there's an issue devs always care to fix it - the games they create are something like their own child and they want fix nasty bugs.
I PMed Tiggs and TH to take a look into this thread and make the devs aware of this issue (in case it's not known yet).
Remember the crashing issue which is still occuring? Tiggs told us they look into it and asked for crashlogs and such, you see, they do care for bug fixing. Just don't expect they read every new posting every sec of the day.

I never had this problem before last night. Last night it was crazy, the NPC ships just jumped all over the place; yet my connection showed a good ping with no packet loss. The days prior to last night, everything was fine. I suspect SOE may have had some problems last night server-side.

Well, I'm having this problem since beta but in beta I thought "it's just beta" and probably it would improve. At launch, I thought other people have the same problem (since we all rubberbanded on the ground too in the beginning or when exiting vehicles) but when I learned most people do not have this problem in space I figured my problem isn't related to normal lag issues (especially when the network monitor shows nothing unusual). It's not just since yesterday or today (at least not for me and probably for others either). :/

The latest TC patch notes say:
"Made combat delays unstackable"
I wonder what that means... maybe it has to do with our issue...?
Also:
"Ship warping/rubberbanding should be reduced"
can anyone check that out who HAS this issue? Due to low hardisk space I haven't installed TC anymore since jtl beta.

At earlierst tomorrow but usually a few days later (since it needs to be tested on TC first).

I just wish we could get some feedback as to whether or not this is related to our issue. I still feel that we are looking at two separate problems: the lag/syncing issue that is a carry-over from the ground game and to some degree can't be prevented in internet games, and some more serious, hardware or software related issue that produces many of the same effects, including rubber banding and invurnerability.

That's why someone who's affected by this issue should go to TC and check it out, I can't believe there is no one who matches that profile.

Okay, it's really disappointing no one volunteered, in a way I'm not really surprised, though...
Anyways, just for that I deleted and moved so many files... but I won't get into that, I freed enough space to get tc working again and the issue is still there even with those new enhancements to rubberbanding.

I was going to check it out myself after school.
TH also said in the thread that they are currently working with Microsoft, Video card manufacturers to solve our issue. He did say it's a top priority. This is at least word that they're looking into it.

I am getting the same issues as mentioned on here.
Also, I have noticed that I get a stutter whilst flying in space. The game seems to freeze for a slight second when either a NPC chat window (ie enemy pilots, space stations,- the ones with the faces) opens/closes or a system message appears saying "player x has looted xxxx" or Mission details etc. As a result of the stutter/freezing my aim is always thrown off as I have to catchup the enemy again with my crosshairs.
My FPS and Ping are fine aswell but still it stutters every few seconds. I think it is linked to the system messages displayed on-screen.
Is this problem anything to do with code priority issues like when JtL was first released you couldnt see your lazers firing. That was something to do with code priorities.
My Specs:
Athlon XP 2400+
1 Gig Ram
Radeon 9800 XT 256MB
(It is bad that Devs have not responded to this though, as the game is pretty much un-playable and more importantly UN-ENJOYABLE)

Can anyone provide a link to where TH said that this was a priority? I'm hoping maybe we can gain a little more insight by seeing exactly what was said.
