Today I logged into SWG at day 14 since I got JTL. And the bug is there. Still.

I want to give a more emotional feedback; this bug is more than just numbers.

I am into my guild now for 5 months, and I liked my guildmates and the game and I had a really great time

since then. Despite some problems, I enjoyed to fight alongside friends, no matter what minor probs there where.

Now we all waited for JTL and agreed to combat side by side or against each other in space. We expected this

add on with great excitement. Now all my of guildmates and friends are in space. Even those with little time

are about to make 3-3-3-3 now. All, beside me. I log in every hour to test if the bug is gone. And every hour

of every day I can't fly, because of the warp bug. It is very hard to describe the feelings of depression and

sadness. I used to fight with my guildmates for months, and I really miss not to be able, even though I have

JTL and SOE has my money.

Right now most are so far ahead, that I have lost all hope to follow them. Now you may say, no matter, you

can catch up later. No. I can not. There is no second first love. And now, when everything is new to everyone

these are the first steps my friends make together, that never come back. These are the first steps in new

snow, that don't repeat. If I join them in weeks or months, it will never be the same. It will be trodden paths

of veterans. The experience to discover something new at my friends side is forever and undeniable stolen

from me. This is a scar in my heart, and this can not be made good.

I curse you Sony, for letting us alone with no sign of hope! Be damned for stealing these first exciting

days despite the fact we filled your pockets with our money - of with I really don't have plenty. I be cursed

for letting us rot in silence!! When the year ends, I shall be gone!

all I got to say to that is a few things...yes this damned bug is jacking up things to hell, but just remember one thing, if they are good friends/guildmates, then they will help you get up to their level once the devs fix this stupid bug....

now, on a different note....HOW ABOUT SOME TYPE OF RESPONSE FROM THE DEVS!!!!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT NOT ONE DEV HAS MADE ANY REMARKS, YET!!!!

I am using an Abit NF7-S 2.0, which uses the nForce2 ultra chipset. Seems a lot of users here having this problem have nForce boards.

Has anyone tried updating chipset drivers yet?

Hmmm might try that.

Ahh. Too bad then.

In the back of my head I knew it wasn't the chipset drivers, but we're currently out of answers. We know it's a lag/client issue. When are the devs gonna acknowledge that? geez.

yeah, pretty much...they don't even acknowledge customer service tickets in-game for this...have had one in for a few days, now, hehe...I just went ahead and deleted it yesterday evening...heh...ttyl

Just some news: a CSR from the chat told me the Devs are aware of our problem and work on it.

I wish someone would post anything about it or ask us questions!

And the pioneer days are gone without me soon anyway!! This sux...

I don't even have the power left to feel angry. I only feel sad. Very sad.

My friends all made their first steps, and I was not at their side.

NOTHING can give me that back!!!!

I've also had enemies warping around like crazy. Like they slide side to side and stuff... no ship could possibly maneuver like that. It's either lag or bad AI.

My own ship also tends to warp back 100m once in a while and my engines appear to "restart."

Last night I tested playing on my other machine. I wanted to see if there were issues with my connection through my network and SWG. Guess what? I could play on that machine no problem.

There's another post where a guy and his wife have identical pc's and she can't play but he can. They are also using the A7N8X Asus motherboards.

I tried adjusting my network settings. Disabled my firewall, removed unecessary network settings (Network Bridge), changed graphic settings in game, and from the launchpad. Nothing worked. I installed new monitor drivers, etc. The only thing left is to see if there are unwanted drivers still installed on my pc that could be affecting this.

I think I might remove the existing graphics drivers and try a fresh install.

This test made me believe that it's some hardware config with my pc. I just don't know enough about network settings to know how to tweek it.

I haven't read the entire thread, but a few things I want to know follow:

I had this problem yesterday afternoon. I wanted to play very bad, but once I went into space I could only get in 3 shots before the enemies would move to a different spot behind me or beside me.

The main problem is that this was one of maybe 2 or 3 times this has happened since Launch. I live in a dorm on a college campus, so I use a a T3. But yesterday we were experiencing some kind of difficulty with the internet. What I ended up noticing was that the lag seems to be due to the packet loss, and pipes in and out. My packet Loss ranged from 30% to 70%.

I'd also like to point out that this only happened during the afternoon at peak times, when I logged in after midnight everything was fine, and I coul dtake all comers once again.

So to you guys with problems, what is your packet loss, and in/out pipeline? (both found in the network monitor)
