If you want to take out a few pirates on your own use a fighter not a mult-pass ship.
You dont get to make the decisions on what ship my character wants to fly.
The DEVs have made this reward useless for any serious JTL pilot.
Ok, why dose every person in this game need 2 multi-pass ships?
The way you people are talking you would want every ship in your piloting prof in your data padd am i right.

Can we please have the Lady Luck not count towards one's ship maximum for the datapad?
If not, this will be a detriment to us veterans.
thanks
Also, would it bepossible to implement code that does this:
I have a Yacht, fully decorated... I get a YT... I am able to launch the YT, but I cannot place items in it.
Can "item dropping" simply be disabled in any extra multi-passenger ship one might have?
I do not see how this would be difficult to code. Simply disallow me to place an item in a multiplayer ship if I already have a multiplayer ship with items in it.
Thanks very much, TH, and either way I look forward to flying this baby!!
p.s. - any chance we could get a standard NPC bartender in the Yachts (like the ones in static cantinas)?!

I think what upsets you the most is that you don't get your "Uber Vet Multiplayer Warship" as a novice pilot and instead have to work to get your combat multiplayer ship like everyone else.
Completely incorrect. Make the reward ship useable at master for all I care. Dont assume to know why people are upset unless you take the time to really read the whole thread and figure it out.
Not only have you gotten why we're upset wrong you're base argument is invalid...

Thank you Devs for not making this a combat vessel and giving people that do not wish to be in combat, even in space, some content. It also satified my worries about people starting out at novice and being able to breeze through it because of this ship.
You are not forced into combat in JTL. You would have had the same content if the ship were upgradeable ... makeing it valuable to a pilot as a ship not just a floating peice of eye candy.
Yes, you are forced into combat in JTL. When you are up in space, there are goign to be lots of red targets that aggro you and force you into fighting. Since this ship is invulnerable, your not gonna have to jump in the pilot seat to fight these ships off because they won't be able to hurt you. You can just go about your business. This ship is perfect for the people that want to go into space, but don't want to FIGHT in space.

Not to be negative but....
The "veteran" reward will be rarely used by many. It isn't much of a reward to have a ship that can't be used to decoarate if you want to decorate a 2nd multiplayer ship, cannot be upgraded, cannot engage in any meaningful activities in space, and takes up datapad space. Except for the occasional "space wedding", I would love to see usage stats on the ship 3 months after JTL ships.
As a veteran, I don't feel very rewarded. If the very least you can't reward a veteran with is an extra 100 units of storage on their character sheet, then you truly architected your database in a disastourous manner.
What about the groups who want to party in space explor spce and just have fun in space other than combat.

Since this ship is invulnerable,
Why do you people keep saying this!? A DEV never said that! Where did you get this information? The only thing I see is a player asking for that and then a swarm of people hailing it as gospel.
Have you even read what it says in the first few lines on the ships description?

I have an idea for the people who want 2 multi-pass ships:
1. get an alt by doing the village. - requires 6months + of grinding and this reward is meant for people who have already put in their time.
2. get another account. - now I have to pay for another account just to fly a useful warship (and not have to delete my 'reward') ?!
3. get a mate to fly the combat multi-pass ship and you have the yacht. - um...htats not me having 2 multipassenger ships
You see all 3 of these options will alow you to have 2 multi-pass ships, what is wrong with these?
I dont even care if we can only have 1 multi-passenger ship ... but this 'reward' shouldnt be so gimped as to be useless to people who may at some point in their career pull the trigger button of their joystick.
CELARLY you just dont get it.
