Thread: Friday Feature October 8th – Veteran Reward: SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000

Oh well. I'd hoped that was an easy fix. I guess we'll just have to pick our favorite ship and stick with it for now. Thanks for looking into it and letting us know.
Guess we'll have to live with it. Most of us will probably furnish and use the yacht until the day we make master pilot. On that day, mine will be emptied and stored away in favor of a YT-1300. I'll probably go alot lighter on furnishings that I originally would have.
TH, could you at least please ask the DEV's to give us an option to launch the Yacht will static furnishings already in it? A yes, no option that pops up when we launch the yacht asking if we want it launched with builtin and unmoveable funiture. After all, the YT-1300 had static furniture there for a little while. Of course, it looked like crap and I'd expect better on the Yacht.

I have an idea for the people who want 2 multi-pass ships:
1. get an alt by doing the village. - requires 6months + of grinding and this reward is meant for people who have already put in their time.
2. get another account. - now I have to pay for another account just to fly a useful warship (and not have to delete my 'reward') ?!
3. get a mate to fly the combat multi-pass ship and you have the yacht. - um...htats not me having 2 multipassenger ships
You see all 3 of these options will alow you to have 2 multi-pass ships, what is wrong with these?
I dont even care if we can only have 1 multi-passenger ship ... but this 'reward' shouldnt be so gimped as to be useless to people who may at some point in their career pull the trigger button of their joystick.
CELARLY you just dont get it.
No you don't get it.
When in a multi-pass ship i think anyone in the group can fly the ship as long as the pilot alows them to. If this is true then problem solved.
Also you can not have everything in life. I would like to asked to you think that we should be alowed to have every ship from one piloting prof to be in your data padd so you can chose the right ship for the mission?

Some people wont be pulling a trigger thou! dont you get it?!?!??!?!?!? there are crafters that would like to just explore space and craft while they are up there! SOME people, are only going to get novice pilot so they can fly this ship, without worrying about being killed. and throu partys with some of thier friends! There are diff types of players out there! Just b/c your going to be the type of player that will fly around and shoot stuff, dosnt mean EVERYONE will. Don't be so self centered!

Actually I think that that is part of the point. Since the whole Pilot tree is built around combat they are giving us, as a reward, a ship that allows us to not participate in combat if we don't want to. As a crafter who spends half his time on a horrible dial-up connection I thank the devs for this gift. The fact that it is beautiful beyond belief is just more icing on the cake.
To sum up:
Not everyone can use a combat ship. Everyone CAN use a non-combat ship. If you choose to not use it you can go out and get a super kick ass combat ready YT-1300 and have the ship you want. Me, I'm keeping this baby.

No no nohe is right and we are wrong
One of the reasons the average person was not against the empire was the added sense of security they created during thier crack down. Part of star wars was an essay on the nature (evil) of people trading personal freedom for a sense of false saftey.
Its very real, and if you live in the US you may be able to relate this to current events.
Their are many non combat players in our world and they will be very happy to get off the public transport system and travel in style/peace. This gives entertainers, crafters, and other non combat vets a reason to get JTL.
And really who wants to fly around for days in the cockpit of a fighter, or the cargo hold of a freighter?
Again, nice job and I am sure I will see several around, the rest of you can delete them and use your 3rd slot for yet another fighter.
Its just a reward dude. Its not supposed to be inherently useful to the game for the rest of your life. Just because its a space ship, dont confuse it with anything other than the paintings you hang in your house or the googles or anything else.
- you can have 3 ships of any kind in your datapad
- This point of treating it “as normal” will keep the door open for expanding the role of the Lux Yacht in the future, too.
and what's with Europe? Shipping fees to Europe are even bader

Yes, these are the only two outlets, but it should be available in their stores as well as online. If it helps, I know that there are EB's just across the Niagara River
