air guitar and loser have no business in a starwars RPG they just aren't Star Wars material.
Rude ---- did any one think about the number of 12 year olds you just gave this emote too? not a good idea. The "up yours" ( aka rude )emote just doesn't foster a game that people want to play for fun. Step in the wrong direction.
on the rest of them - very spiff!

I just can't believe that the dev team would actually spend time creating "air guitar" and "loser" emotes. Completely separate from the whole "should be spending time on something else" argument (which I happen to agree with), those emotes have NOTHING to do with the Star Wars universe. The Devs have gone from casually disregarding continuity to ACTIVELY DESTROYING IT.
Maybe this is SOE giving the big F-U to LucasArts before they get sacked.

I started playing SWG because of the star wars universe spirit...shame there were none

A distressing number of people, however, still think the Devs are doing something smart with the release of these emotes. Please people, I beg you: Do not be so gullible! The Devs have proven that they cannot be trusted, and when you do put some faith in them, they have you right where they want you.
Heh heh, nice call with the final FU, Diorchas; we can only hope that's what's going on.
In reply to the person who said it is the player's choice which side they join: Absolutely correct. But the Devs can find ways around this choice, if they tried. They could make the perks for the Empire better, while still keeping good, fun reasons to join the Rebs. Also, they could just give the Empire better NPC support. We all know that right now it is a joke.
As for you, Jes- Just who are you talking to? I do roleplay, and I don't appreciate the comments you made that seem to be aimed in my direction. I have never owned a piece of Comp. I wear ST armor for the sake of RP, no matter how sh*tty it is. I have never AFK-grinded. The player you described is basically my opposite. If your grammar and spelling weren't as they were in that post of yours, I might suspect you were drunk when you made it. It has nothing to do with anything. Perhaps you are in the wrong thread?

My post wasn't aimed at you only... It's aimed at everyone wearing full stun-composite, buffs and template. 
This type of people are, if you didn't know, WAY over-abundant, and also incredibly annoying to listen to on theforums.
The only reason I believe you about you actually roleplaying, is because of the ST-suit you say you have... 
Got two of those on Chimaera and one on Lowca - crappy, but still good-looking. 
I just get P.O'ed every time I hear a templater whining - Like the people who wanted Carbineer nerfed a mere day after it was fixed.
Problem is, after listening to that kind of people for 1 year, you end up not being able to tell the difference between them and honest players.
I hate afk'ers with a passion, because they are a bane for all the good lower-level non-elite-combatcontent in the game.

I quite like them, and I hope they are only for JTL buyers otherwise there will be even less extras in it for people who buy it. But I do agree, there probably is a million more inportant stuff to do.

No matter what the devs do if people want to go rebels then they will. It is the same with jedi people want it so they get it. Also what is wrong with some new emotes don't like them then don't use them it is that simple. Just because you and some othere people don't like it dose not mean they should not put them in as alot of people do like them.

This is crazy. I know its been said about 20 times, but you can't just make new content without fixing the old first, if you could even call this content. If you build up a game on content thats broken its just going to compile until there'snothing left but bugs and people complaining about bugs. I complain about bugs, but not because I like to complain. I complain in hopes that something will be done to fix them. I'm not even talking about professions and things like that, because anyone could complain that a profession is broken just to better improve themselves. I'm talking about skill tapes, beserker rifle, and things of that nature. I'm a pvp'er and roleplayer. I've been playing the game since a month after release and I've never mastered an elite profession. NONE. I switched from rebel to imperial with my guild in hopes that others would do the same to maybe give this game a more star wars feel. But adding emotes that have nothing to do with star wars and leaving out the key ones just counteracts anything anyone does to make this game like starwars. Maybe if we all complain enough, the devs will just snap and destroy the game and ban everyone. LOL. Anyways lets get some more star wars content, such as a story arc with some bug fixes. Later all, and I am prepared for the flames from the emote lovers.
