this begs the question.......WHERES THE MOVE ALONG EMOTE?!
It was something the player base actually asked for (and could usein true Star Wars RP) - that's why it wasn't included.

Why do you all spaz out about this?
Seriously. I mean, I read the first page, and all it was about was teens/adults complaining like children because they don't get enough JTL info. If you want JTL info, join the beta/somehow get info from your friends.

The reason we complain about the stupid crap is that this game has Star Wars in its title, and claims MMORPG as its genre. Personally, I can't understand why someone would pay a monthly subscription for a glorified chatroom. But sure, even if I don't understand why they do it, it's none of my business. What I do consider my business, however, is that I get what I'm paying for. Though it's not in any part of the legal agreement, I subscribed to this game expecting a certain amount of Star Wars content. This is the only MMOG I think I could really get into, since I love Star Wars and not necessarily the genre (though I have seen its possibilities in this game). Imperator, coming in Winter 2005, looks pretty good, but that's a long ways away, and I'm sure the devs would rather I keep my subscription to their game.
But toensure that, they have to start living up to the Star Wars in the title. If this were a game based on some concept they made up it wouldn't bother me so much that everyone runs around in the same, nearly-invincible armor, or that the so-called "oppressive" force in the game is forced to live a life of fear (frankly, I wouldn't be bothered because I wouldn't go near it). But I have seen Star Wars, and I can confidently say that no one wore a full set of armor besides soldiers, Dark Lords, and bounty hunters (and even with the bounty hunters, only a couple), and I'm pretty sure none of it was nearly-invincible. And no matter how brave they were, the Rebels were still terribly scared of the Empire, and had right to be.
The devs put quite a burden on their shoulders when they said they were going to make not only a Star Wars game, but a Star Wars roleplaying-game,and it is definitely about time they sucked it up and accomplished what they set out to do.
Also... we wouldn't be "bitching and moaning," as you put it, if these problems had been fixed when we first broughtthem to their attention. The fact that these problems have gone so long without rectification gives us a right to complain, in my opinion.

It is not the devs fault that most players joined the rebels. That is why no one fears the empire in this game, If more player where imps then the rebel would have a hard time, there bases would be hard to defend and there would not be many of them bases left if there where more imps around.
I am a reb by the way.
Also how is this game a glorified chatroom? This is a good game yes it has it's problems butevery game of this type has problems, i mean look at EQ was it as stable a year in.
To close the way you talking its as if the emotes are the only thing we get with JTL, its not we get ships, space sectors, cap ships to blow up and everything else to do with star wars in space and that is just the start, so i ask you why are you and the others complaining.
