Someone asked:
Seeing as how you're not in it for the money, surely you'd sell me some of those amazing resources for 1.5cpu, right?
I've been harvesting them since April, and will continue to harvest them, *only* to produce ships with.

Dingo - I have more than 2 characters.
You were bringing the level of conversation down to my level? Are you serious? LOL! Re-read the thread and check out all your trolling. *I* started this thread just to post my prices - you chose to respond and be an a$$.
Between my characters and a few guild buddies, I have 65 lots at my disposal to harvest with. Again, resources won't be a problem.
Ackew - Don't worry about me - I won't have to buy resources.

crapetgunk OH YES you will. Even with that many lots you will run out of resources REAL quick. esp if thier not all movable which i doubt they are. Just admit it you trying to ruin the ship market before its even started just like i bet you and others like you did to the bike market.I'm not worried I'm plain to move to you server and buy all you ships and then resell them at 10 times the price

Ackew... Even though you are illiterate and unintelligent, I'll still respond to your comments:
No Ackew... I won't run out of resources. LOL - You don't know how many I have. So... *shh*
And, even if you DID come to my server, you also don't know what methods I'll be using to sell my ships. So, good luck buying me out.

What I think it boils down to on this thread, is how much do you value your time?
If you are an efficient time saver, and can be doing 12 RL things at the same time you are running to your harvesters each day, while in tells with two other people getting info on the best resource spawns, then you probably place little value on the time you are spending to get the resources and make the ships.
I value my time a lot more highly though. But it's an entirely free market. You can mine resources all day long, and craft every deed for 1cpu, or give them away, and no one can stop you.
Someone mentioned that someone could just go in and buy all the ships he has for sale, and resell them at a higher price. If you found out every single ship you made to sell, outside of your guildies, was being bought for the intent of resale, how would you feel? Or let's take it one step higher. . what if your guildies started reselling all the ships you gave them for 5cpu, or 10? If that wouldn't bother you just a teensy bit, then you are possessed of a very unique mindset. Most humans get upset when someone elsetakes credit (in this case, credits) for work they themselves did.
However, all you people who are stating on how much demand he'll have for those low, low priced deeds.. to get to Master, each of us has to make around 1200 novice ships, less if you make an equal amount of each tiered ship.
I'm sure this was brought up by people in beta, but if every single person that doesn't click the practice button tries to unload all those chassises.. at the same time.. . brrr. What do you think the market price will be for the novice ships? Supply will > > > > > demand, thus the price will be next to nothing. THAT's simple economics.
How many people do you think, on the average, have the resources stocked, and are raring to grind up the first day on your server? 2? 10? 50? 100?
I think a conservative number being 25 people per server, that's around 1200 x 25 or 30,000 novice ships (again, less if you split them all up as the new blueprints become available)
So, the market for ships per server can support 30,000 ships? ok, let's say 1/3 of them hit practice mode . 20,000 ships then? How many people are allowed on each server, anyways? 4000? 6000? The numbers are speculative as to the amount of deeds that will be generated that first day, but I'd say that if anyone is entertaining the idea thatthey will somehow be the only shipwright, or 1 of 2 shipwrights, or 1 in 10 shipwrights on the server is naive, at best.
I foresee the novice ship deeds being posted on the bazaar for 6k within 48 hours of server start the day JTL is released, due to amount of them generated. That's just my prediction. I won't be doing that, but I foresee some people will. Over and over again.

Sigh once again all you can do insult me and you never answer my questions. Well if you put the wp to your vendor in your sig its very easy to find your vendor also if thier not on there It will be VERY easy to find out how you are selling as everyone will know and be buying from you to sell at a markup.Trust me you WILL run out ofresources and time to build the 000's of chassis people will be ordering. Howyou got to be a mayor i will never know. Thanks for the 1 star shows how intelligent you are

Dude, you have to make around 1200 novice ships? Yikes.. yeah you're right, I do not see the prices staying high on these for long. The shipwrights will make their money off the master level ships, just like every other crafting profession. Low level food, harvesters, bone armor, etc is always on the market for dirt cheap.

there is no real grind in shipwright. Product can and should be produced by those going to master at every level.. 1200 novice ships is about accurate.. i think.. but you won't be making novice ships.. as soon as you can upgrade to a higher level ship the xp increases... i think it's really about 13 or so novice ships you have to make... have to brush up on the numbers there, but then you go on to the next higher level ship. total ships doing the highest xp ship you can make is like 130 or so (again, numbers are fuzzy) It doesn't take long and shipwright can be mastered in an hour.. although I would consider those who just do practice mode to master foolish.. or don't mind wasting resources.. everything you produce in the 'grind' can be sold.
