I've been flying DS for a few days now and have wondered if there
is a pvp rating for space as there is for cround PVP.

you don't even get faction for PVP in space. in fact, once you kill someone you get no acknowledgement whatsoever that the player has died.
imo it's a major flaw in the system that should be rectified immediately.

Hehe it would be scary to get a % of the faction someone is carrying after a nice long evening in DS.

I have to agree that you should get a lil something for PVP. I'm sorry it's much more lethal than PVE. The way I do it is I started taking screenshots of those I've taken out so I at least get a little something.
I enjoy PVE and think you should get a % of experience and faction, plus a chance at some good loot would be nice. But I think people would exploit this, so I am satisfied with the pleasure of taking out a flesh and blood player. I get such a rush from PVP that it's well worth it, the sound of my heart pumping and adrenaline rush is it's own reward.

hmm ya right now you dont gain or lose any FP from PvP kills or deaths.
You dont even get a notification on who you killed or who killed you - which i think is a good thing, cuts down the greif/hate tells. Personnaly I dont really want to know who i killed, nor do i care

true, true. i get all gitty like a little kid on christmas morning when i see an enemy on my targeting systems. space pvp is probably the most well-done form of PvP on this game. fights are short, quick, and deadly - just like in THE MOVIES. it's definately the most star-warsy feeling part of the entire game.
Some reward FP or kill count badges or something would be nice - maybe a badge for every so many unique kills. Like 5 kills you get the (Has shot down 5 'faction Pilots). Pilots wont be on the unique kill list for at least an hour or two after you shoot them down (to prevent exploiting).

Is especially important now with the reduced healing timers to always be thinking about that drain in the back of your mind. I haven't found one thats good for jedi vs jedi ranged vs jedi or jedi vs melee yet. Mdefender sux against ranged, i was rooted for the entire 20 minute bh battle.With melee mdefedner hasn't been better, same with vs jedi. I find mpowers is the best against ranged, So i decided to go mls mpowers healer 4-4-0-0

am trying to pvp not much luck only be pvp for a week so am amuter and understand am crap but i have died 30 times in a row and not slain anyone one plz help

i really need help if am to get better i have tried alsorts of combnations and nothing kills anyone
used every skill i got nothing seems to work in any order or random

hmm not to be mean or anything but with those skills unless ur fighting a jedi knight 1 on 1 u should be wining.
