Ok, I was reading that somewhere that as a neutral pilot when u enter a pvp space sector(which I didnt know there even was) that you get to choose either rebel or imperial? Can some1 crush or verify this rumor for me?

Yes and no. When entering deep space you choose rebel or imperial if you are neutral and fight for that side. When entering Kessel as a neutral you go "overt" for your neutral faction.
So, Deep Space is just rebel vs imperial and you pick a side if neutral.
Kessel is rebel vs imperial vs hutt neutral vs rsf neutral vs corsec neutral.
The one exception to this rule is if you are also factioned on the ground. Then you join your side upon entering.

Lol no problem. There are two special PvP zones. One is Kessel the other is "Deep space".
To access either of them you have to go to a special space station.
The rebel one is located somewhere in Dantooine space
The imperial one is somewhere in Endor space
And the neutral one is somewhere in Dathomir space.
Anyone can go to Kessel at any time, but be warned its super level mobs.
To get to deep space, after you master a pilot profession you no longer get pilot xp but isntead get presitgue points. You can spend these prestigue points to access deep space.
As for the zones themselves:
Deep space is an ongoing battle between a rebel space station and an imperial star destroyer. It happens in 3 phases. The side that wins in Deep space determines which side the mobs in Kessel are aligned with
Kessel is a mining planetoid surrounded by massive black holes(called the maw).

It's all about knowing how to use the tools you have and knowing your opponent. Win some lose some but all around I don't think it's as bad as some people make it out to be.

hey guys i have been a master ranger/rifleman for a couple of months now. I do ok in pvp but i have a real problem when people get in close with dizzy knock down. i don't have any sp left to pick up new skills just wondering how the rest of you deal with that damn dizzy kd.

eat thakitilo sp? drink ithorian mist. with the ithorian mist you either have to drink your 2 brandies and then wait for you stomach to empty out enough to drink it, or just drink 1 brandy. musician buffs and dancer buffs make this decision much easier.
That' the best advice I can give you if you aren't willing to drop master Ranger, if you are willing to drop master, then pick up pistoleer 0/0/4/0 best kd/dizzy/blind/stun defenses you can get for that anount of sp. I would NOT advise you drop the terrainget you get from ranger, I used to have +91 terrain neg between SEA's, scout, and having a MSL as group lead. I could crawl on my belly (much better acc esp with T21) like a bandit. esp in hilly areas like dantooine, Most D-stackers don't have terrain neg, and I could crawl up hills faster than they could run.....

if you arent willing to grab pistoleer and fencer defenses... add flurryshot2 to your hot keys. if someone runs at you, burst, start trying to land a dizzy with this attack so they cant burst. basically, dont let them get close.

Lots of talk about a "Droid Army". Do any of you PvP with droids?
