Thread: Med droids are the biggest exploit the bh have got going now...
Fixing the issue with Bacta Spray healing droid and BH will indeed make a difference. The BH now has to either heal the droid w/ droid stims or heal himself. Assuming the droid no longer gives healing bonuses while incapped. The choice has to be made, save his own hide OR save his droids hide?

I don't speak for everyone in this thread, but I think to sum it up. If a BH can heal a droid, let the jedi heal the droid. If the BH can't heal the droid, don't let Jedi heal the droid either.
I think that's a pretty fair assessment. Currently, that's not the case. Do you disaggree with that?

1) For the last time friggin' time,the bacta (whatever)SHOULD be changed and droid should not be healed using Med skills.
2) Droid reconstruction kits. Droid Repair Kits. No mind and little action to use. EVERYONE INCLUDING JEDI has access to them.

med droid healing using stims IS a bug. knowing that and using it is an exploit.

Not a problem. One wasted combat round. The Jedi wasted one destroying the droid, you waste one healing it. Back to square one.
Yes, but he wont be able to still get the heal mod from the droid when its incapped, he will either have to heal it or himself, the droid wont be attacking me at the same time as the bh, so i can save 1 or more heals, and most importantly it might distract the bh a bit.
2. They wont be able to drag a droid with them almost indefinately
As it currently stands all pets and droids can be dragged intorange for a heal/repair. To change this would complety negate the purpose of /drag command. I feel this should remain as it is.
If they get the drag command, the majority of bhs dont have it.
3. Its gonna cost them some for droid stims
With the gazillionairs that exist today you cite this as a problem?? Lol. This will actually help DE.
Its not a problem, but any "risk" a bh gets when hunting a jedi is welcome as far as im concerned

No Offense, but haven't you thought of getting your own med droid?
And I'll add this as well, its people like you who whine and complain because of people using normal game items as they are intended and calling it an exploit. Get over it, just because you don't have an "uber automatic I Win button" doesn't mean the other person is using an "exploit".
And another thing if the droid is still healing after its been "incapped" then its a BUG, not an exploit.

I use my R2 to solo giant kimos and juv kryats. I dont have spray shot, i have to select him and cough a batca shot on him. IfI see more nerfing because of you stupid complains I will not only understand the motivations of BHs better I may become one
This is one more case where a Jedi vs BH cry affects the rest of the players but you dont care!

First, med droids don't help with Jedi healing. Second, if you are using a known bug to get effects NOT intended to kill PvP, it IS an exploit.

Been here 2 months, so the fact that you cant find a better way to solo a krayt/kimo than using an R3 is important, more important than the roughly 700$ ive spent in subscription fee's and expansions?
Thing is if this goes through all you need to do is get DROID STIMS, they are made for a reason and use one of them to heal your droid up rather than bacta.
Who mentioned spray shot, the issue is bacta spray from combat medic, that is an area heal that can be used to heal both the droid and the bh in 1 combat round.
Quick advice, when someone complains about something not working as intended, dont **edit** at them, go **edit** at the people who are exploiting this bug.
its not a whine when it goes towards bugs.
As a Bounty Hunter I have to say I absolutely love this.
Some of you jedi whine about so much you spread your profession thin. Other Jedi who come up with intelligent posts that may otherwise reward the Jedi community gets easily overlooked. No one takes you seriously anymore, anything that you say has to be confirmed and reconfirmed 50000 times before any action is taken. Which pretty much slows any development you might have to a standstill. You wonder where the FRS is, where pearls are, where are new skills? Well, who would have the time for that if all they did was chase around rumors.
Musafar comes out for 15 minutes and you whine. Things like this droidproblem you whine. You whine about BH, you whine about SL, you whine about pistoleer, about CM, about riflemen, hell you even whine about other Jedi. It's freaking hilarious.
Just a news flash for you,but a droid did not beat you. And the people that "exploit" -although I think this falls under the catagory of bugs, rather then exploit. See 0 condition clothing with active CA for example- really are just too lazy to do it right. If they were doing everything correctly...
- They would be using droid repair kits that heal more then twice the amount of bactaspray/shot on their droids. At the same time saving valuable mind for healing themselves.
- They would never let their droids get incapped for too long. Hence wasting your time trying to kill the droid, while still receiving the benefits of the droid's damage and medical modules.
If the things you are asking for gets fixed, which makes no difference to me whether they are or not, if they get fixed you're still SOL when it comes to battling droids. Since it's evident some of you cannot think outside the box.
The only way you're going to beat them is by being *gasp * smarter!
Try rooting the droid and then running, rather then incapping the droid just so the BH can heal again. Most BH use the attack command, which may or may not cause the droid to follow, if you get some distance the droid will no longer follow unless the BH specifically tells the droid to. In the mist of battle most BH are more concerned with chasing you, ratherthen micro-managing the droid.
Orrrrrrrr, just forget all about that... continue to whine which will ultimately cause a domino effect to the doom of the Jedi profession. Like I said, freaking hilarious. All your problems and you can still focus on the stupidiest little things.
