Ok heres a real question that im confused about. Based onwhat i quoted above. When a member of the opposing faction drives by while you are hunting in a group wether intentional or not, does that mean your visibility is maxed and your name is now on the terminal?

An opposing faction member who views this action will add the full value of the action to the Jedi Visibility Value.

I do not believe so. What is meant by the phrase "will add the full value of the action" is that if the action would cause, for example, 100 visibility, then 100 visibility will be added to your existing visibility total if the person observing it were opposing faction. However, if the observer were same faction, or neutral, then less than 100 is added to your existing visibility total. It does not mean that your visibility is maxed if an opposing faction player witnesses just one visibility-causing action. If that were true, I would think I'd have had at least one BH visit, and I haven't had one. I get drive-bys all the time while fighting in groups on Lok and on Dant.
I'd be curious if people have done any kind of comparative analysis that says how many vis causing actions pushes you over the threshold of getting you on the terms. For instance, 5 drive-bys? 10? Showing your saber in front of 10 people for 10 minutes? 20 minutes? That sort of stuff. I think if more people have done this sort of test in the past and shared the information, we could have a better understanding of how many times we can afford to have little screw-ups here and there and not worry always about being on the terms. I know there's no way to know any of this for sure, but I've got to think someone somewhere has done this sort of analysis in the past.
Oh well. Ever vigilant.

i think i already know the answer to this, but i just want to make certain.
If you already have your saber and/or robe equiped, and walk by non grouped NPCs or PCs, does that generate visability since you have a saber equiped? Or is does it only generate vis if you equip or unequip the saber or robe while close to NPCs or PCs?
if anyone can clear this up for me i would appreciate it, because so far i been unequiping my saber everytime i see someone begining to come in range, or before i go into crowded areas.
Thanks.
its kind of unclear some say yes some say no. If you really worry about visibility than i would say, just to be certain, never let any npc or non-group member pc see you with you ls or robe equiped.
Could we eventually get a summary of the "what we think we know" added or stickied soon Baciacca?
Answers to the following questions:
How do you gain visibility? - using force in any manner within 32m of any NPC or player that is not grouped with you. This seems to be the consensus.
Does visibility decrease over time so eventually you drop off the BH terminals? If yes, what is the rate? - I've heard rumors that it decays over 3 weeks time, is that logged in time or RL time? has it changed?
Havinga check command or alert to know when it's off or on would be nice to have. What do I need to do to get on? Clear out the Sennex cave? I've heard Jedi do this and not get on the BH termsback in the pre-CU days....
I thnk the one reason we are kept in the dark about this from the devs is it easier to change the rules if no one knows them...
you can have your robes and saber equipped and have people around you all day as long as you dont do any actions i have seen that no vis - robes being equiped or saber for the instance i would say yes but that time only - my players who dont want vis follow the basic rules we do equip robes and sabers over 32 meters away if members arent in group, if fighting and such and there are others near or wanting in the group fighting and sabers away sort of speak, once they are in group then no worries to what is done as no vis from members in group. animals dont give vis. so go grind lol, npcs will so dont grind them.

Let me ask this....walking passed an NPC or another player while cloaked...will that casue visibility?
Yes, you are draining your force while cloaked, thus generating visabilty within your 32m radius.
And if you are in your private house meditating and a player walks by house, within 32m of you, does that cause visibility?
This, I have no difinative answer for as I never really tested this. I would recomend as it does involve regenerating your force, if you are worried about visabiliy, do not do it. I could be wrong as I believe the basis for visability is on abilities that "consume" force. Do not hold me to this though.
The walking while cloaked thing could use some testing for the following reason. You are able to activate forcerun three 32m from anything that gives you vis then fr anywhere you want without gaining vis and it does tic your force somewhat, unless it has changed since cu wich I am not sure about but precu you could activate ant force power like force run then run through theed with no probs.

Could not have said it better..Lets hope that the correspondent can get some answers

Another bit of useful info is wear a piece of armour when in company, it stops you 'accidentaly' using a force power
Good suggestion this.
I accidentally Force Meditated in the cantina at Mining Outpost, Dantooine by clicking the button on the toolbar thinking it was "sit", then realising a second later that it was actually my "sit and F.Med" macro.
There must've been at least 25 people within 32m
