Honestly, and this is not a flame, but I feel that if you think Jedi are "strong" now, you are a post-cu Jedi.

The other day I watched a non-Jedi kill 3 out of 6 Jedi that were on him. The Jedi that were on him were all from the upper echelon of the FRS pre-cu. They are the ones that you would NOT want to meet in a dark alley, even if you had 2 to 1 odds, pre cu.

A few people from our guild have started playing strictly on our non-Jedi and found it to be easier AND stronger. I can stand in front of 2 Jedi and just heal their damage without them killing me.

I know this all seems like the typical "Jedi crying" but come on. Stop with the KashtafarEQ2instanced espansions and make the game fun again. If anything, just open up a pre-cu server and see how many people play on it. Isn't SOE here to make the game fun for us? We pay them, so shouldn't they listen to what we beg and plea for? Look at the other thread where 95% of people that responded want the Precu back.

Yes, I am something like 200-0 vs Bounty Hunters. They pose no threat. If anything I think jedi need to be nerfed more. It's too easy

Maybe that's what we would be IF we where updated to work with the CU, but we where not.

Toughness was removed from all professions. The upgraded professions got armor mitigation or innate armor instead. In Jedi they just swapped Jedi Toughness with Innate Armor.

Defense was added to all professions except thoose who where "out of scope", such as Entertainers, Rangers, Creature Handlers and... Jedi.

There's just one truth: We where not revamped. We are not balanced or designed to work under this ruleset. Stop speculating and wait for the revamp.

As far as I concern, Jedi is a Dead profession as Major parts of it do not belong in the game. Either it's severly/gamebreakingly overpowered, or they are not fit for surviving mid-level pve or act their dedicated role.

When patches 9 and 10 came out they told us they were balancing Jedi to the CU. If that is truly the case, it would make sense that we haven't seen very many changes to our skillset since August 2004.

ya we are 1.5x stronger. trick is you gotta know how to play your jedi and what template is suited to you

I dont think all jedi are 1.5x stronger. Its a silly statement to make as some are more 'tough' than others, some being useful for different situations. If stronger you mean by 1v1 dueling then you can say that some templates are stronger.

They aren't dropping to go Jedi, they are grinding out the 24 FS points to get Padawan unlock and their free 2nd character, then regrind their main toon back to a lvl 80 rifle/cm or something and never use the glowbat again if they are smart

I'm definitely 1.5 times stronger than a non-jedi. Probably 2 times stronger, in fact.

for the guy that sai dthat a fully temp paddy was supposed to be 1.5x stronger take a closer look a tthe most recent comment on how strong a Jedi is/will be from the devs it is a t Knight and as soon as they announced that they removed the FRS. Sorry just stating a fact.

I hate the responses which state:

"You obviously haven't fought the right regular profs"
"You should come to X Server, we have Y and Z here"

Firstly, how would you know which professions I've come up against? I pvp regularly (admittedly alot less in the past 2 weeks because of a promotion at work) and duel very often. I seek out the best for duels. I know who the upper echelon melee stackers are, and I know the same of the BHs on Ahazi.

Secondly, do you honestly believe that only your server has seen an influx of these new non-Jedi templates? Are you so dense as to believe that if someone is having success with their character, they must be on a "lesser" server?

Personally, here's my answer:

I HAVE fought the templates you're talking about. Melee stacker with doc, AB resist 8K armor, the works. MBH/MCM with AB sliced armor, etc. I've fought them all.

And I still say that a full templated Jedi, even without FRS, is about 2.5x stronger than any full template (250 SP allocated to combat professions) non-Jedi. That's right, not only am I disagreeing that we're weaker than 1.5, I'm upping it to 2.5.

And no, I don't sploit.

-I read the first page and stoped. What I see here is a few people upset cause they cant pvp, and don't give me that "My LS sucks casue premiums don't drop" excuse. I have a 515 mod dps LS made with all post CU pearls and since I've made it to full temp I'm yet to be killed by a BH. I've fought these legendary BHM, CM the MBH, MR, 4000cm, the MBH, MR, smuggler and the MBH, MR, 0003 pistols. Did u ever stop to think that you should learn your skills and foods to eat? Cause while some BHs jsut suck other are very good and know how to "play" a jedi to make him loose. Don't fight a bh to kill him, fight him to get his mind down. Did you know that stun does alot more than create a little blue thing under their name?

-oh, and yes we are stronger and set right. I do think that premiums should start dropping again but that it should be so few and far between that they almost dont exist.

For those of you who disagree with the orignal poster and claim never to have lost to a regular profession, I invite you to come duel samuraijack' on lowca. He is a simple pikeman who, simply put, will give you your money's worth. Look him up, you wont be disappointed.
