"A very short reply: Play your own game. Dont try to lecture people who do not like what you like."

A reply to your reply.

IAM playing the game that we all play and in it when you deide to follow the path to Jedi their is the possibilty of being hunted and killed by other players.Always has been that way and theres no reason to change it with 20 some other professions out there for you to play.

They came to this game knowing the consequesnces if they don't like the rules then they need to quite "lecturing" about a system they voluntarily joined.

Again, Play your own game. Dont lecture others how they should play. If you like it, dont dwell on the forum and mock thoose who are caught in the system and have to deal with the issues you have been fortunate to be able to avoid.

And did I voluntarily join Publish 19? No, I did not. I did not even get a free respec. It was as "optional" as "We have started to demolish your home to build a railroad, pick up your pieces and leave".

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

You make absolutely no sense.Im not lecturing anyone on "how they should play" Theres is one system for Jedi and it involves the possibility that you may be hunted by other players.PERIOD!

"caught in a system" and have to deal with issues that i have been able to avoid???????? WTH are you talking about. The system is at its easiest level ever do you really want it easier?Again the overwhelming point it if you are a Jedi you may be hunted. Are some of the newer Jedi so spoiled that they need to have the whiped out too so they can enjoy their experience?Again you have an alt go play it if you dont want to be hunted

Please clarify what your last sentence was in reference to sinc the main issue is once again if you are a Jedi you may need to fight other players. You knew it I knew it and anyone who joined the FS ranks knew it.You can type until your fingers fall off and thats not going to change.Don't compare apples and oranges

I do believe the very core of all of this is I can't quest with my jedi. (I don't know if you did, but I worked very hard for mine, and enjoy playing it. The other classes are nothing to me.) My two favorite things in the game to do are swing a lightsaber and quest. I can't quest without BH running up my ass every 5 minutes.

Speaking of play your own game:
Last night my group was grinding away, and here comes the happy go lucky BH.

He didn't attack though. He just circled our group for an HOUR, waiting for us to attack and get visibility. We had to sit there and be completely dictated by this retard's agenda. We couldn't get away from him because he had a mission on one of us. THAT is absurd.

I don't want other people forcing their playstyles on mine, because I don't force mine on theirs. And I'm not going to shut up until there's some kind of a change. There's a very simple fix proposed, I believe MsNil was the originator. No NPC visibility. Then I'll fade away forever, the BH can go back to their PVP "don't fix teh game I like to screw with other ppl" lives (just this time, it won't be weak padawans, it will be those that really expect your "visit"), and I'll stay in mine.

Not without BH crawling up by neitheregions. Read before writing.

I did. We all did. The CSR said "sorry, I canst help thee with that." He was nice, though. Unlike the **edit** BH.

I don't want other people forcing their playstyles on mine, because I don't force mine on theirs. You are a Jedi you chose your play style when you agreed to the join the ranks. Is that really so hard to comprehend?

Yes, it is. Though it became more so the more "ooB3RBH" I had to deal with.

And I'm not going to shut up until there's some kind of a change. There's a very simple fix proposed, I believe MsNil was the originator. No NPC visibility. So one more cry to make the game easier. How about we just make Jedi a profession you can start day one like all of the others?

That's the only way to get the other classes back truly. Jedi on equal level with all the other classes. No other game has an "ultimate" class. I suggested elite level professions - rather than nerfing jedi - on tier difficulty with Jedi - for the other 32 classes. But I'm obviously insane.

Then I'll fade away forever, the BH can go back to their PVP "don't fix teh game I like to screw with other ppl" lives (just this time, it won't be weak padawans, it will be those that really expect your "visit"), and I'll stay in mine.Has nothing to do with screwing with people and everything to do with how the system has always been.Thousands of players have done it but now its broken right?

Hm. I seem to hear quite a few people out there calling for the change too. Guess they don't count. Why is the decision from a team of obviously flawed developers from the stone ages gospel to you? I assume you were perfectly happy with every other decision they made as well, because they are always right?

there are more and more of us becoming jedi. about time for the coro to step up and take this to the devs.

pvp'ers are the minority, and jedi is becoming mainstream enough that the uber d00ds are no long the majority there either.

I beg to differ, pvpers are the majority of jedi on any server. The reason you don't see more of them is that they are trying to get better CA's and looking for other loots to help them in pvp. The reason most of the jedi who are opposed to pvp is simply because they don't have the equipment to do well...or lack the skills.

98% of the BH's that you complain about have jedi alts.

You are 100% wrong... even if I was the best, most uberest, mightiest player in my server with the uberest equipment ever in any server... I would NOT ENJOY PVP one iota. Zilch, zero, nada. It's the concept of it, not the ability to do well, or lack thereof. What part of that can you NOT understand??

Cant play the game and stay off the terminals.

You are back on the terminal after your first pve mission, even if not a single player saw you.

then dont grind kungas..do pickets or bols and drop the mission if npc's are within 100m of the lair...(100m just to be safe) oh and corpses of npc's give vis so having someone kill them then start to grind wont do u any good...staying off the terms can be done and im sorry its not as easy and just riding up to a lair and killing without thinking about your surroundings...

Nah there needs to be some discouragement to stop everyone wanting to be a Jedi, and forced pvp discourages a lot of people. All Jedi know they will have to pvp - it's in the job description.

The direct opposite is true. Forced pvp and a pvp rewarding system is what encouraged most of the current Jedi to become one.

Disable pvp 100% from Jedi, and you will see them drop like flies.

hmm jedi pvp disabled = over half of all accounts being cancelled...sounds like a smart move

make pvp optional to EVERYONE, even jedi.

Not without BH crawling up by neitheregions. Read before writing.I did read.I did read it.There are hundreds or even thousands of Jedi who quest just fine. Why do you have such a problem with it?"Please Mr Dev change the rules to suit me even thougb everyone else is functioning fine"

See how silly it sounds

Unlike the **edit** BH.Too bad because I think it depends on the CSR you get. Some would view it as harrassment. But we all no theres no consistancy with CSR's ok you say report him then say to bad you just get to be griefed

I don't want other people forcing their playstyles on mine, because I don't force mine on theirs. You are a Jedi you chose your play style when you agreed to the join the ranks. Is that really so hard to comprehend? find a place on the box or the manual that said this

Yes, it is. Though it became more so the more "ooB3RBH" I had to deal with.THEN DON'T PLAY YOUR JEDI!MY GOD YOU ARE A THICK ONE.You chose a profession knowing the game mechanics and now all you do is cry because they wont change the rules to suit you.Again as I said earlier...thousands of players manage but you can't seem to.Lets change the rules to fit the minority. You people want everything at no cost. this is tha majority saying this you better start counting, and it's my jedi ispent over two year on him so if i want to play him i can.

And I'm not going to shut up until there's some kind of a change. There's a very simple fix proposed, I believe MsNil was the originator. No NPC visibility. So one more cry to make the game easier. How about we just make Jedi a profession you can start day one like all of the others? might as well it is no better

That's the only way to get the other classes back truly. Jedi on equal level with all the other classes. No other game has an "ultimate" class. I suggested elite level professions - rather than nerfing jedi - on tier difficulty with Jedi - for the other 32 classes. But I'm obviously insane. No what would put the other profession back would have been SOE not nerfing crafting because they wanteed to make it "easier"As far as combat professionsand not being able to hang with Jedi obviously your complaint verifies the fact that there are plenty of non Jedi players who can kill us.Instead some choose to stand on the sidelines and scream nerf at Jedi because THEY can't handle fighting one. What would have kept things more in check would have been keeping the older system for Jedi in effect.Including the OLD BH system where they could hunt you by name and easily bring their friends.Unfortunatly it was abused and instead of fixing it they destroyed it to make all of the whiners happy and their lives easier.

Then I'll fade away forever, the BH can go back to their PVP "don't fix teh game I like to screw with other ppl" lives (just this time, it won't be weak padawans, it will be those that really expect your "visit"), and I'll stay in mine.Has nothing to do with screwing with people and everything to do with how the system has always been.Thousands of players have done it but now its broken right? people have been complaining about this nothing new

Hm. I seem to hear quite a few people out there calling for the change too. Guess they don't count. Why is the decision from a team of obviously flawed developers from the stone ages gospel to you? I assume you were perfectly happy with every other decision they made as well, because they are always right? How were the original developers flawed in there concept of Jedi being difficult and requiring sacrifice? It's not suppossed to be easy but you want the easy button placed squarely in your lap because suddenly you forgot about the price of being a Jedi in this particular game. The original developers had an incredible system set up where all proffessions needed each other,The current team was thrown together to push out content as quickly and easily as possible and out very little thought into that concept.

I dont ususally call people whiners but this is so silly I can't think of another term. You attitude is exactly whats wrong with so many facets of society.Everyone wants everything NOW,feels that someone owes them something and that the rules should be changed to fit them.Just go to chat sometime when the servers are 5 minutes late coming up and listen to the screams for double xp and respecs. The ONLY reason people cry for that is because they know it will make it easier for them to reach their goals and they want to get there as quickly as they can.Along the fast path you learn very little.Remember its the journey not the destination.

Obviously theres no sense in continuing this since you wont be happy until you have everything your way forgetting the fact that you are in the minority. Please continue to try to change the system and watch the older players come down on you in droves because you think you deserve to have an easier system than they endured. Why do you deserve to have it any easier than we did/do.

And everybodys equipment degrades, but not everybody is forced into PVP by proffession!

Then go play those other professions and let jedi be what jedi has been since day 1.

All i can say that all of you that dont like pvp that much keep it up! Get yourvoices heard. If we are indeed the majority we will get the change we want. Revolution sometimes is a good thing and change is sometimes a great thing. Some people may not like change to much as they are holding on to something long past usefulness but they will survive the change im sure.

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.
