You guys crack me up. I don't see how you could ever think camping a jedi to give them visability is a reportable offense. Would you prefer it that no one ever has visibility? Would you prefer to have a jedi character with no risks whatsoever? You babies already got the best part of jedi removed, that being saber tef, permadeath, etc.
When is it enough? If you want to be uber without risking anything, then just go ranged (rifleman, carb, pistoleer) with BH and CM 4000. I kill 95% of anything I attack, if not more.
Straying from the topic a bit there.. but if you find yourself being camped, for the sole reason of increasing your visibility, then move on, run away, log out... you know, the same things you do when attacked. And yes, I may seem biased to some, but I do have a full temp and a bh. I know both sides very well, and know what I'm talking about.
Bottom line.. you are a jedi. If you want to lvl it, then lvl it accepting there are some conditions to having that type of character. If you don't learn to live with these conditions, all you will do is cause more nerfs, hatred, etc.

that was not his opinion but that of the game developers...if you want to condone player griefing fine by me...enjoy yourself...the drop in jedi power was not brought on my PvE jedi...it was brought on by whining within the PvP community on how "overpowered" jedi were...

Ok the word:It is griefing or harassment if something is said that proves what they are doing. Use /report to do that and feel free to file a ticket to get a CSR to help. /report is considered proof enough for a CSR to act. It is suggested that if this occurs that you use group chat and decide on another grind location to avoid the encounter though.
well i read in to the second line as "a CSR will probbly not be able to help you so do this instead."
i have countlessly used /report on greefers and nothings ever been done, however do CSRs stalk players? cos a friend of mine was kind followed by CSR_shanK a while back (admitidly he is a bit of a pr!ck)
is this how CSRs get things done, follow n watch players cos i doubt most players will actuly commit and act of greefing with a CSR around, and if a CSR dose do this would it be entrapment?

Its sometimes amazing how little the devs care about jedi and how much the rest of the commuity think that Jedi are all the devs listen to.

for those of u saying about the /report command to report harrasment....it wont work unless the bh actually says something....all he has to do is stand there, he doesnt have to say a word at all. a log cant be created if there is nothing to fill it with....most griefers know this and wont do anything at all that shows they are there. the best thing is for one to go offline, or get on a second computer, go to the main sign in screen and go to a chat room where csr's are live. then tell them to come into the game. If you are lucky they will. last time this happened they kept saying make a ticket, they never go it through their heads that you cant make one if the bh doesnt type anything at all.

At no time did I condone the actions of the griefer, or promote them, nor have I resorted to cheap namecalling, nor did at any time infer the griefer was a Bounty Hunter. If you think that you've done all you can do to manage your visibility simply by grinding somewhere remote, then my friend you're going to get a lot of visits. Let me spell it out so even you can understand.. If someone like this comes along, unequip your saber. Ask them to leave. If they do not, you and your group can hunt elsewhere, you can be back in the saddle earning xpin like5 minutes. Why should I waste my time just because some doorknob wants to waste his? Believe it or not, I agree with you... griefers like this should be taken out back and shot. But you can't force them to stop, so you might as well work around them and manage your visibility. When you play your game, you should strive to control as many variables as you possibly can. This is just one of them.
I am almost full template, a MDef with LS 0444. My friends and I helplow-level Jedilearn to grind effectively, I encourage them to add me to their friends list, and they makemassive truckloads of xp when they huntin our spin group. My only request to them is they do the same for younger Jedi when they get to where I am. You don't know me, you don't have the right to second-guess what kind of player or Jedi I am or how I treat my fellow Jedi. Go away little troll.
Posting here that you don't like the rules is not going to change the fact that these things will grant the visibility that brings the Bounty Hunters, or prevent them from coming. Doing something pro-active about managing your visibility will. YOU control when you use Force powers that cause vis. YOU control equipping of your saber and robes. Don't hate the BH's. Sure, there are some idiots, but we all know that they can be found anywhere. BH's have an exciting game to play.. and that gameis hunting YOU. Don't give them the edge.

Nothing wrong with this. The BH is doing his job. I know it sucks for the Jedi that are grinding with that Jedi target but thats the way it is. Part of the game mechanic. Most of the time we know who the mark is andonce its figuredthat Jedi should deal with the BH and nolonger grind with the group until the encounter is complete. The mark endangers the group if he does continue and as well if he is the tank the group could be harmed if the BH attacked during the middle of the lair.
